Abducted by the dangerous Theater, Juliet has been turned into a puppet. Guided by the mysterious Narrator, Romeo will embark on a twisted journey through faux decors, rotating sets, and deceptive backstages. What secrets lie beneath the Theater? Inspired by the original Romeo and Juliet of Shakespeare, rediscover key beats of their tragedy in this expansive 3D reimagination. Explore the Theater and its mysteries in this fully voiced immersive narrative adventure, follow Romeo and the Narrator in their quest to save Juliet, but be wary of the lights… Who knows, maybe you’ll even find out what’s hiding below the stage? Explore a story’s worth of beautiful hand-crafted theater sets. Solve more than a dozen real-time puzzles containing rotating sets, dangerous lights, and varied challenges. Experience a fully-voiced original story inspired by the world of the theater. Move through a classic three-act structure as the story progresses. Immerse yourself in a spectacle, from start to finish, and play as its main actor. Live through the narration in English or in French (voices only available in English). Masquerade is a Graduation Project by ARTFX Promo 2025’s students, in collaboration with sound designers from Slope Audio Training, a composer from MAAV, and two talented voice actors. Led and united under a common vision of the project, they worked together for over a year to create this game. No compromise, only passion. We hope you’ll like it. Made with Unreal Engine 5.4 Playing with a controller is recommended.
