Short description
Harper Jones is missing. In a last-ditch attempt to find him, Sheriff Oaklyn heads out to the forest surrounding the infamous Watcher’s Point to investigate. But she soon finds herself experiencing the unsettling nature of the forest, one snapshot at a time, when she discovers an abandoned camera.
About this game
In the year 2010, Harper Jones goes missing. After locally organised community efforts fail to track him down, Sheriff Oaklyn takes matters into her own hands. However, when she comes across an abandoned camera, her own search for the missing 17-year-old takes on a whole different tone than anticipated, revealing to her the unsettling nature of the forest. Explore the areas surrounding the infamous lookout tower, Watcher’s Point, in this short, narrative-driven experience. Features: Atmospheric first-person exploration through a linear environment. Narrative progression through environmental photography, with occasional jump scares and complementary collectable notes. Distinct photo categories for optional and required shots - snap a few unique shots of your own, if you so wish! Environmental events. Fully voiced dialogue and protagonist commentary. PS2-style visuals inspired by classic, early 2000s horror games. 15-30 minutes of playtime. A series of short horror game experiences, of which Watcher’s Point is the first instalment. We have creatively experimented with this one and hope to do so for future instalments, so we’re interested to see where this will take us!
