  Gidday, last time I promised y'all a nice little update with some new content in the demo for being so patient with the upcoming release. So that's what I've decided to do, along with the help from some incredible community members in the Discord. Also a new enemy type, status effects for weapons and some fixes/improvements.Two things I had to include in this update is the drag and drop feature, something I'm still working out how to best strategise with myself. It's quite a handy tool when you want to drag a vapor.exe away from the Defrag Collector that would be really useful to use right after, or putting a couple lemwire.exe's next to one another to process them at the same time. Long time no see, basically just wanted to share how things are ticking along and let y'all know that the demo has a new minor update - think hotfix but it's like time has passed so a warmfix if you will, with some much requested QoL additions and a couple nasty bugs that affected a small amount of folks.Main thing is, update! Below is the changelog, it's not incredibly exciting but the nicest part is the ability to speed up certain animations like the level up slowdowns, BigWave progress and Plugin Installers. There's a new setting to control the speed of some things and in BigWave or Installer you can hold down Click to speed things up, just like the boot sequence. • 13,000 Wishlists and Next Fest - 24 February 2026

  Howdy howdy, back so soon but also like a day or so late with this. Just wanted to recap on the launch of the demo, how it went and Next Fest. I'll have more updates on what's coming next and the exciting things to look forward to in a future post.Stats are cool, over 6,000 players have come through to play the demo, Wishlists have more than doubled to now 13,000! Somehow over 500 of you have played for more than 3 hours, like stop! It's only a demo! Overall I couldn't be happier with the response, 10k before Next Fest was a pipe dream goal I wasn't really sure could be reached, but here we are after lingering around 2,000 last month.How did we get here? • Demo Available Now and What's New - 13 February 2026

  Gidday, I'm back! First and foremost I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined in on the previous playtest. Over 2000 people signed up and over 1000 played the sample, including a Twitch streamer I personally enjoy, Squeex. With over 100 responses to the survey linked on the main menu, I was able to get a fair idea of what y'all liked and some of the really annoying issues found. Thankfully not a lot of bugs were encountered and essentially all that were reported have been rectified with this demo build, I'm sure there could be a couple new ones though. There were a handful of annoying choices I'd made that have also been switched up, namely collision detection is tightened up on the player - so if you're hit, then you're definitely hit. I've adjusted the iframes making them longer and opening a Safe Folder means you are actually safe now. Overall it should feel a littl…

  Howdy all, just a quick update on what’s coming very soon, and a little recap on how things have gone so far. The fun part is that the first playtest for Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional is happening tomorrow on the 2nd of February. I’m really excited to get some quick and nasty feedback on where it’s at.This playtest will run for at least a couple of days and is subject to extension, but don’t worry if you miss it because there will likely be another one in a week or so. The demo will also be in NextFest later this month.The intention was to run this a lot earlier and only for a small audience. However, my goal of 100 playtest signups has ballooned well over 1000 now and I like to make good first impressions... even if this was only supposed to be a technical test (I also got rather sick, still am tbh, boohoo).
