• Update to Steam Storefront + New Particles and Visuals!! (July 2026) - 5 July 2026

  Hey, as you can see, the screenshots and visuals have changed like the capsule art as I felt I want the game to look more professionally and taking in the power I give within the game e.g. groundbreaking stuff..The particles like in this fern is apparent and abhorrent that it can melt your skin...Keep following the news of Jungle Shadow.. I've also added the new background and foreground elements, which looks less blocky..

• Update to Platforms + Trees and Store Page - 17 May 2026

  Update to store page where it includes new screenshots, I think i'll change it minimally later, new capsule art with new logo and character. For the grass platforms, it looks a bit more realistic now, a bit rougher and the grass blades more spread out... The trees have more vines now with a blue-green stickiness to it with no yellow strokes now to help out with readability... The sun rays might change later on and parallaxing will be added later on too.

• 2026's Big Visual Changes To Jungle Shadow!! - 24 March 2026

  (Close to a final look) Here I have two screenshots of what the game looks like now where there is a more polished, realistic look on the trees with better shape, cuts to represent leaves a lot more than before and tall grass from foreground to background... I struggled with this then I had to someday learn how can I achieve this perspective? Sun rays has also changed from the default to its own style now... I am really proud on how it looks now and Jungle Shadow looking more ready for the future, so everything else like birds and such is getting an overhaul change.

  I have made changes with the store page visually by making things appear a bit more close-up, so it looks less far on mobile, so most screenshots will be that way and revealing some UI so far in the game.Keep following the development!

• Big Appearance Changes To All Sprites! Improving Pixel Art And Uniqueness! - 14 November 2025

  Hey everyone and back with some big news update on Jungle Shadow, which includes new visual updates to all sprites, which is made to be more unique, sharper and detailed, but not making it hyper-realistic or what not. This is to bring the game to a more appealing and satisfying state where you are actually IN the Jungle Of Platoshira, the dangerous Jungle and having a clear light source.Got some notes:Better normal map(light impacting) visual of spritesSlightly more dithered shadowsHaving a bit of a gradient / colour layering lookBringing up sprite sizes to add in more detailAdded the depth Jungle Trees Background to bring more of a wide, endless jungle feel.Some fixesI have also improved the why you are in the Jungle and what you will do in Platoshira such as you will encounter some random events like mini-bosses or gaining rewards by progressing through certain areas!Everything is imp…
