ImprovementsUpdated the visual presentation of the Wave IndicatorAdded a (temporary) highlight effect to the Discard button to make it more noticeableAdded idle animations for all units on the fieldAdjusted the highlight effect when dragging cardsFixesFixed a crash caused by the “Ember” land tileFixed some crashes related to localization filesScribblesA tower defense game finally has a proper wave indicator!Felt the Discard button wasn’t prominent enough, so added a temporary highlight. Will think about a better solution later.Took inspiration from other games and added a bouncy, jelly-like effect to idle units. Looks pretty neat! The old card-dragging effect tended to obscure the card itself and wasn’t visually great. Made some tweaks.Regarding the localization file issues… it’s highly likely not all of them are fixed. But there are just so many files. Giving myself a tiny pass on this…

Hello everyone,After a long period of development, the full version of "Striking Wine" is now available as of December 23, 2025, at 9:00 PM (GMT+8).However, before considering a purchase, please read the following points, which are more important than any gameplay mechanic.1. Please Try the Demo FirstThe Demo will always coexist with the full version. We strongly recommend downloading and trying the latest free Demo before making a decision. For the foreseeable future, the Demo will receive the same updates as the full version. You can experience everything the full version currently offers in the Demo.2. About "Unfinished" and "A Sense of Ceremony"The current version is far from perfect; she's not even complete. Yet, when we initially set the date for December 23, 2025, and later encountered a potential "bad ending" in development, we decided that since nothing unforeseen occurred, the…
- Demo Patch Notes 0.7.7 - 18 December 2025
ImprovementsMerged the Camp and Travel Map interfaces, and updated the relevant UI accordinglyTemporarily removed the new player tutorialFixesFixed missing textures within the mapThis update aims to make the UI interactions feel more intuitive. However, redesigning the UI always means having to redo the tutorial, which is tiring — so I've removed it for now. I'm considering replacing it with a manual-style guide (like the one in Oxygen Not Included) in the future to see if that works better.Halfway through this update, I realized the in-map textures were wrong. Looking forward to the day when players find these kinds of issues before I do.

ImprovementsTweaked the animation for switching between UI screensAdded a gentle reminder on the main menu... just in caseFixesNo specific bugs were squashed in this updateWe're nearing the release date, but... let's just say the development has hit a “bad ending” and not everything is ready. So, I've added a little note at the bottom-left corner of the main menu. Hope it helps set the right expectations.

- Demo Patch Notes 0.7.1.2 - 30 September 2025
Adjusted the map generation algorithm. While writing this, I noticed the new algorithm had a small oversight—it wasn't making paths two-way when the "Directed Path" advance was off _(:ι」∠)_. It's already fixed on my end and will be included in the next update.

Leading up to the full release planned for the end of this year, the demo itself will receive continuous updates and improvements.A big thank you to every player who clicked to read this! I'd like to take this opportunity to share the journey behind this project. The Beginning: A Game Made for MyselfThe birth of this game started with a spark of inspiration: what if you could customize your tower's ammunition in a tower defense game? And a very simple idea: to make a game that I myself would find fun to play.As it stands, it might not be perfectly polished, but every mechanic and every piece of content was built around my purest standard of what makes a game "fun". It began as a personal project for me—a journey of creation, fueled by passion, na…
