The Cosmic Cat Autumn Festival has started, with 6 seasonal themed levels, including activities like smashing pumpkins, defending scarecrows, exploring a haunted maze and more! Each time you complete a level, you earn experience points. Once you gain enough, you will Level Up!Every 5 Level Ups rewards you with a new Gemstone Cat, each with its own unique colour and glimmer. - Leaderboards Update - 16 June 2026
Cosmic Cat has now received an update with full Steam Leaderboard integration across the game.All 216 levels now record players' best times, allowing players to compete for the fastest completion times on every stage. In addition, 4 of the game’s minigames now also feature dedicated Leaderboards, giving players even more ways to challenge friends and the wider community.Each leaderboard records best times in milliseconds for precise ranking, making every fraction of a second matter when pushing for top positions.The Catapult minigame has been intentionally excluded from Leaderboard support due to its limited 0–10 scoring range, where global ranking would not provide meaningful competition.This update is focused on expanding replayability and encouraging mastery across the entire game, from individual levels to optional side challenges. - Leaderboard Patch - 15 June 2026
Just a small patch to add a Leaderboard feature to the minigame Cat Flap, which now displays the top 20 highest scores. It is only on this minigame for now but I am working towards adding Leaderboards for each minigame and also for all of the levels in Cosmic Cat very soon!To unlock the minigame Cat Flap you need to earn 10 Arcade Coins by playing the game (12 of these coins can be easily earned from just playing the 12 Training Mode levels. Once you have enough coins, go to the Arcade menu on the main menu and select it.

- Miss Miss Cats Dish Update - 30 December 2025
After some player feedback, I noticed some players were getting stuck on certain levels due to a particular challenge, mechanic, or puzzle. That meant they weren't getting to enjoy the variety waiting in the later levels, and that just won't do!So I added a feature that unlocks the next level if you run out of your 9 lives twice. Added the Checkpoint features to 168 out of 180 levels (12 levels where better without Checkpoints).Added Nine Lives feature, so you get 9 Lives to respawn at your latest Checkpoint before having to restart the level.Respawning at Checkpoints can resupply you with Weapons & Abilities to make sure you have what you need to finish the level.Oxygen Meter Updated on water levels, so it now remains visible whenever your oxygen is below 100%, even when above the surface.Forcefield Texture Improvements wall textures so that they are all animated and aligned properly on all sides.Level 32 on the Cosmic Kitten campaign is now called Bluebottles & Beams and has been remade.
