• Update For My Cozy Bookshop!!! - 30 August 2026

  Hello all that are following my journey here developing My Cozy Bookshop. After a bit of a long slug of life getting in the way of my dev roadmap goals I am coming back and coming back strong! I have decided to enter my game into Steam's Next Fest where players can try to the demo out, so before that happens I will be adding major updates to the demo and game, so whoever is reading this, if you have not played the demo yet, perhaps hold off until I release a new one with a updated content!Looking forward to making this game the best it can be!   Hello My Cozy Bookshop Demo Players! The demo is now live!!!! Woooo!!This is an exciting time, and I wanted to give the demo some context: So, Glitch Step Games is actually just one developer, me! It's my second game, and I've really challenged myself with this one and want to give you all a fun, whimsical Bookshop owning experience!With that being said; being a solo indie game developer comes with it's challenges, one of which being that I don't have many testers, and therefore I will miss things. I test my game as much as I can, but some things, like typos, UI sizing (especially on different systems) and the overall UX experience are glossed over by me because I am so used to seeing them, however!! You as the demo players have the ability to shape and make this game into what it truly should be!So I want to apologize in advance for any bugs/negativity that comes from some of my mistak…
