Thank you all for the wait, and for your assistance in the long-running beta test of Acceleration of SUGURI 2! After many changes and iterations, the balance beta test has finally run its course, and we're happy to announce the release of version 1.9! The beta went over every character with the aim of making them all more enjoyable and more viable in competitive games, which resulted in bigger changes in certain characters than others. You can view full patch notes on the forums. In addition, version 1.9 adds the Quarantined Rapport 4 winners to the Hall of Fame! What's next? We are closing down the beta branch for now. However, we plan to open it again in the near future, this time to run experiments on new gameplay features instead of balance, including new mechanics and lobby options. Many thanks to all our long-time players... and keep on accelerating!

We're happy to announce the launch of the promised public beta test branch for upcoming balance changes! To participate, go to the properties of Acceleration of SUGURI 2 in your Steam Library, then BETAS page -> select "beta - Public Beta" from the dropdown menu. The initial list of changes is as follows: Iru: Reduced Neutral Hyper Startup, Dash Cancel and Recovery frames by 6 frames each, damage per hit increased from 60 to 90 (540 total to 810 total). Iru: Damage of hold wA reduced from 180 per hit to 120 per hit. Iru: Tap/Held wB value changed from 290 per missile to 160 per missile, missile speed changed from 17 to 22, meter gain increased to aprox. 1.2x. It's time to go casual! For 1.7.5 we focused on polishing the previously added features based on user feedback. Changes Added toggle to turn on and off Spectators icons online. Added toggle to turn on and off menus popping up at the beginning of training and replay. Tournament mode now locks Handicap at 100%. Handicap is no longer fixed for training. You can adjust it on the character select screen. Fixed an issue with Kae's death animation. Changed the behaviour of time control for replays to be the same as training mode (this is due to a bug where the game would sometimes crashes at frame 8092 of time control). Acceleration of SUGURI 2 version 1.7.4 is now live with several exciting new additions! Suguri Ver.2 costume! A Ver.2 costume for Suguri has been added for free to all players! Like the previous Sora (Military) costume, she can be selected like an alternative color to play with. Happy Halloween! A special Halloween event is now in effect, allowing players to earn double particles by playing the game online throughout October! Other Changes Moreover, a High Contrast Mode toggle has been added to training and replay. It does not affect global settings. Version 1.7.4 also adds the requested toggle in the Config menu to turn the "Hold button to pause" feature on and off. We hope you'll enjoy these changes!

Hello good accelerators! We have more great additions for you in Acceleration of SUGURI version 1.7.3! High Contrast Mode! Enabling this new accessibility feature makes the playfield easier to see.
