- The Streets Have Changed - 11 October 2026
Hello everyone! You know, spending some time behind bars really changes your perspective. Especially when you finally get out and realize the city's been getting a makeover while you were gone.. Winston Springs is looking pretty good these days. New graffiti, tags, colorful murals... looks like the local artists have been keeping themselves busy. And honestly? I kinda like it. The streets have more character now. Some places look rougher, others a little more colorful, but the whole city feels more alive than I remember. Almost makes me want to take a nice, peaceful walk around town. Almost! I've got work to do, money to make, and plenty of cars that aren't going to steal themselves. Still, it's nice to have some new scenery while I'm doing my... business. Now I just need to make sure I don't end up back behind bars. I'd hate to miss the next makeover. Don't forget to wishlist Car Crime…
- Every Professional Needs a Laptop - 5 October 2026
Hello everyone! You know, stealing stuff isn't just about having quick hands. Sometimes you actually need to be prepared. Turns out my laptop is pretty useful for that. With access to the wonderful world of the internet, I can get my hands on the tools and equipment I need before heading out for the next job. Lockpicks, useful gear, and whatever else the job might require... a few clicks, a little money, and I'm one step closer to being properly prepared. Because sooner or later, I'm going to run into something that can't be solved with good timing and a suspicious amount of confidence. So before heading out, it's probably worth checking what I'm missing and stocking up. Who would've thought this line of work involved so much online shopping? Anyway... tools ready, target picked.Time to get back to work. Don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator. I've still got plenty of work to do a…
- That Was Easy - 27 September 2026
Hello everyone! Alright. Enough mirrors, wipers, and other small stuff. Time to steal my first car! I was expecting this one to be a little more complicated. Find the right garage, figure out how to get inside, deal with whatever security is waiting for me… Turns out, someone decided to leave the car keys right there in plain sight. Very thoughtful of them. So this job became pretty simple. Get inside, grab the keys, find the right car, and drive away like it belongs to me. Clean, quick, and surprisingly easy. Of course, I doubt they'll all be like this. Some cars will take more preparation, better tools, and probably a lot more creativity to get my hands on. But that's the thing about this job: sometimes knowing where to look and which target to choose is just as important as having the right equipment. And when life gives you car keys.. Well, it would be rude not to take the car! One…
- When the Door Says No - 17 September 2026
Hello everyone! You know, this job isn't always as simple as walking in and taking what you need. Sometimes the door is locked. Sometimes the window isn't an option. And apparently, knocking and asking nicely isn't very effective either. Luckily, I'm pretty good with my hands. With the right tools and a bit of patience, a locked door is more of an inconvenience than an actual obstacle. Getting through one takes a steady hand and some precision. Find the right position, work the lock, and try not to spend too much time standing in front of a door you definitely don't own. The faster I get it open, the faster I can get inside and get back to my completely legitimate business. And that's where lockpicking comes in. It's another skill I'll need to master if I want to reach places that weren't exactly expecting visitors. After all, a locked door doesn't necessarily mean "Keep Out." Sometimes…
- The Neighborhood Is Getting Better... Sort Of - 13 September 2026
Hello everyone! Winston Springs is finally starting to look the way I remember it. Don't get me wrong, it was never exactly a peaceful place. But the area around my hideout was starting to feel a little too... friendly. And this definitely isn't the kind of neighborhood you move to for the good schools and quiet neighbors. Things have changed a bit since then. There's more going on around the hideout now, with new buildings, details, and places that fit this side of Winston Springs much better. It finally looks like the kind of neighborhood where you should probably keep an eye on your car. Speaking of cars... I've also solved one of the more practical problems with my new career. Stealing bigger stuff is one thing. Getting it home without walking across half the city carrying something I definitely shouldn't have is another. Fortunately, cars have trunks. I can now load larger items in…
- Business Is Booming - 6 September 2026
Hello everyone! Winston Springs is getting a little... busy lately. More gangs, more trouble, more people like me trying to make an honest living. Well... you know what I mean. The police seem to have noticed too. They've got a new look, and judging by what's happening around the city, they're going to have their hands full trying to keep everything under control. Which is slightly inconvenient for me. But it's not all bad news. I finally found a place where I can turn some of my... acquired goods into actual money. The local pawn shop isn't too interested in asking questions. Mirrors, electronics, smaller valuables... if I can carry it through the door and it's worth something, there's a good chance someone will pay for it. And that's what really matters, right? After all, not every business has to be completely legal. It just has to be profitable. P.S. Don't forget to wishlist both th…
- An Honest Day’s Work - 30 August 2026
Hello everyone! Alright... enough talking. Time to get to work. Honest work! Well... honest might be a bit of a stretch. I still owe Dirty Jack, and that debt isn't going to pay itself. But I can't exactly start by stealing half a car. I don't have the tools, or any reason to attract that much attention yet. So we start small. Mirrors, wipers... Nothing fancy, but they're easy to grab, easy to carry, and most importantly, worth something. Perfect for someone trying to make their first bit of cash without half of Winston Springs looking for them. Now we need to find the right car, make sure nobody's watching, grab what we can, and get out. Simple! It's a small step for a thief, but a giant leap for my outstanding debt, right? Don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator. I've got a feeling my definition of "honest work" is only going to get worse from here. And be sure to check out what’…
- Dirty Jack’s Place - 22 August 2026
Hello everyone! Well... I got myself into a bit of trouble. Getting out of jail wasn't exactly free, and now I owe Dirty Jack for helping me out. Turns out he's not the kind of guy who forgets about a debt. This is his place. Doesn't look particularly welcoming, but I guess it doesn't have to. Jack expects me to bring certain items here and leave them at his shed. Every delivery gets me a little closer to paying off what I owe him. So yeah... I have a debt, a place to drop off the goods, and absolutely no idea how smoothly any of this is going to go. Guess there's only one thing left to do. Next time, I'll take you with me on my first theft. Let's see if I still remember how this works. In the meantime, don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator. I have a feeling things are about to get interesting. And be sure to check out what’s new in Car Dealer Simulator!! https://store.steampower…
- Finding the Right Hideout - 16 August 2026
Hello everyone! I've been thinking… If I'm going to make a living stealing car parts, I probably shouldn't keep everything in the first abandoned shack I find. A good hideout is more than just four walls and a roof. It's where I keep my tools, plan my next jobs, and avoid any unwanted visitors. Luckily, there isn't just one place to choose from. Different hideouts offer different advantages, so it's really up to me where I want to settle in. Not every place looks impressive... but then again, that's probably a good thing. The less attention it gets, the better. Now I just need to decide which one feels the most like... home. And preferably one where the neighbors don't ask too many questions. Wishlist Car Crime Simulator and keep an eye out for more updates! P.S. Our friends from Perfect Circle Team have just released the demo of their game! Be sure to check it out and experience Winsto…
- I Needed a Car - 2 August 2026
Hello everyone! Sleeping under a roof is nice! But a roof doesn't pay the bills. The first thing I really needed was a car. Getting to jobs faster, carrying stolen parts, and disappearing before anyone notices what's missing... Life gets a whole lot easier once you've got your own set of wheels. I've finally managed to get one running, and I have to admit, it feels good to be back on the road! There's still plenty left to figure out, but every new system gets me one step closer to making a real living in this city. Just don't ask where the car came from… If you're enjoying these updates, don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator. It's not luxurious, but it gets the job done... and honestly, that's all that matters. Don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator and join us when it's time to move in. P.S. Our friends from Perfect Circle Team have just released the demo of their game! Be…
- Home Sweet Home? - 20 July 2026
Hello everyone! Hey... welcome to my place. Cozy? Not exactly. Spacious? Definitely not. But hey, for a thief who somehow managed to get a roof over his head without paying rent… I really can't complain! 😅 This little hideout is where you'll start your journey in Car Crime Simulator. It might not look like much, but every big operation has to begin somewhere. Here you'll catch your breath, plan your next move, and slowly build your way up from small-time jobs to much bigger opportunities. It's not luxurious, but it gets the job done... and honestly, that's all that matters. Don't forget to wishlist Car Crime Simulator and join us when it's time to move in. P.S. The demo from our friends at Perfect Circle Team launches today! Play it and experience Winston Springs from a whole new perspective! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4532800/Police_Chief_Simulator_Demo/
- Behind Bars - 5 July 2026
Hello everyone! Well... it finally happened. After years of "professional experience" and hundreds of stolen cars, all it took was one tiny mistake to end up exactly where the police always said I belonged... prison. Honestly? I can't wait to get out of here. The worst part? There are no cars to steal. It's depressing. I can't even see a parking lot through the window. The closest thing to a vehicle around here is the lunch cart... But don't worry. This is just the beginning of a brand-new chapter in Car Crime Simulator. Prison isn't the end of the story. Anyway, I'm off to cross another day off the calendar. Just a few more days... or years... and I'll finally hear the sound of an engine starting instead of cell doors slamming shut. Take a look inside the prison and see where our "professional" is serving his time. See you soon! P.S. Are you guys waiting for me to get out, too? If you…
- Illegal Atmosphere - 4 June 2026
Hello everyone! Work on Car Crime Simulator is moving forward steadily. Now that we’ve shown you the foundations of your base on the new engine, it’s time to talk about what gives this place and the entire city of Winstons Spring its soul - the dense, illegal atmosphere. Building a believable criminal underworld requires more than just turning down the lights on the map. It requires attention to detail and a raw, industrial character across every location where you'll be doing business. The Heart of the Operation Your chop shop is far from a sterile garage. This is where metal gets cut and tracks get covered. Take a look at the specific details we are implementing: spilled oil, omnipresent grime, tire marks, a gun tossed hastily onto the hood alongside stacks of cash. Every element is designed to remind you that this is a high-risk business. We want this heavy, dark aesthetic to be almo…
- Moving to Unreal Engine! - 30 May 2026
Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we announced Car Crime Simulator. During this time, we haven't been sitting on our hands; instead, we’ve been coldly analyzing the direction in which we want to develop this project. We are committed to delivering a high-quality product with a strong character and a dense atmosphere. That’s why we’ve made a crucial, strategic decision: we are moving the entire project to Unreal Engine. Why the change? Running a chop shop, stealing, and tearing cars apart for parts - it’s a dirty, tough business that needs the right setting. We want to provide you with a concrete visual feast. Unreal gives us the tools to extract the maximum out of this game when it comes to realistic lighting, rust textures, grease details, and the overall raw atmosphere. We are not interested in half-measures or visual compromises - the criminal underworld must look believable an…
- Free Prologue Announcement - 26 May 2026
Hello everyone! We’re excited to announce that before the full release, you’ll be able to experience Car Crime Simulator in a free standalone prologue. This will serve as an introduction to the full game, where you’ll meet Dirty Jack, return to the town of Winston Springs, and get your first taste of shady deals in the automotive underworld 😊 More updates are coming soon - see you on Steam and on our Discord channel! If you want to explore the dark side of the automotive business even further, be sure to add both the prologue and the full version of the game to your wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4533320/Car_Crime_Simulator_Prologue__Early_Days/ While waiting for more news, check out what’s new in the first game from the series - Car Dealer Simulator: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2404880/Car_Dealer_Simulator/
- On Your Trail: Police AI - 14 February 2026
Hey everyone One of the core pillars of Car Crime Simulator is tension, and that tension really comes alive during police chases. If you choose to cross the line, escaping shouldn’t feel easy or scripted. It should feel earned. That’s why we’ve been focusing heavily on the police chase AI. We’re building a system that allows police vehicles to react dynamically to the world around them - detecting obstacles, adjusting their path, and navigating changing terrain. Chases aren’t limited to clean asphalt roads either. If you decide to go off-road, take a risky shortcut, or push through tight spaces, the police will try to adapt and follow. We’re also working on improving how vehicles track and pursue the player, so it feels like you’re being actively hunted rather than simply followed. The goal is to create situations that feel intense, unpredictable, and grounded in the game world. Chases…
- Know Your Parts, Stay Out of Trouble - 24 December 2025
🎄 Merry Christmas! 🎄 The holidays are here, lights are on, and things slow down a bit - but work on CRIME hasn’t stopped. This past time has been all about building, tweaking, and trying out ideas, slowly putting the game together piece by piece. Every day brings the project closer to the shape we’re aiming for. We’re using the holiday season to take a short breather, recharge, and clear our heads - the kind of pause that helps us come back with fresh ideas and renewed energy. Once the new year starts, we’re jumping straight back into development, with a clear plan and a lot of motivation to push things further. There’s a lot we’re excited about and plenty of cool stuff in the works. New systems, improvements, and moments that really define the CRIME experience are coming together, and before long we’ll be ready to start showing more of what we’ve been working on. For now, we just wan…
- Know Your Parts, Stay Out of Trouble - 6 December 2025
Hey everyone! You know how it is - parts are everything. You can buy them, you can fix them, and, well… sometimes you can acquire them through less official channels. Just make sure you know what’s what before you throw something into a car and suddenly find yourself answering way too many questions! 😅 That’s why we’ve added a new system of icons and visual tags. A simple set of symbols that helps you quickly identify where a part came from, whether it’s been tinkered with, and whether it’s the kind of thing that might make the cops raise an eyebrow the moment they see it. The selected part originally came from this car (as shown by the icon in the red circle), but it was cheaply repaired. Of course, this is all still work in progress, but you can already check out some early screenshots below. This hood was picked up from the shop - nothing shady this time. We removed the bumper from…
- Carrying Parts Like a Pro - 22 November 2025
Hey everyone! In Car Crime Simulator, even carrying stuff can be a crime... against your spine! 😅 So remember, folks - lift with your knees, not your back! In our game, that rule applies just as well. We’re working on different ways of carrying car parts, depending on their size and type. Some will require a bit more balance, others a different approach – but all of it adds variety to how you handle your work in the garage. It’s a small detail, but it adds a lot of realism and a touch of humor to everyday life in the workshop. Still a work in progress… but at least our backs are safe! Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more updates! PS. Later today, a brand-new car model is coming to Car Dealer Simulator! Make sure to check out the update! 🚗✨ https://store.steampowered.com/app/2404880/Car_Dealer_Simulator
- Breaking Down Cars for Parts - 6 October 2025
Hey everyone! In today’s devlog, we’re showcasing a prototype of the car dismantling mechanic. The game will feature a system for stealing vehicles and taking them apart piece by piece. The removed parts can be sold or reused on other cars. Each one has its own value, so it’s often worth deciding whether to sell it right away or keep it for later use. The system is built for co-op and fully supports replication. You and your friends will be able to speed up the whole process - split the tasks, work on the same car simultaneously, and operate like a well-coordinated crew. It’s faster, more efficient, and definitely more fun. Let us know what you think! PS. Last week, we also added new special events and a brand-new car model to Car Dealer Simulator. Check it out! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2404880/Car_Dealer_Simulator
