- L-4 Overhaul Update is now live! - 22 March 2026
After months of hard work, the update is finally done! We have a LOT of fixes, changes and new content that's been added, so let's start going through the list:-New rooms: Most of the redundant hallways and passages that were previously just empty space have now been merged into large rooms, making landmarking easier and making exploring less repetitive. -The Sub-Reactor is now an explorable area.-Added a function to the oxygen relay room.-New documents.-New mechanic: Security clearances. Certain rooms and briefcases are locked and require a security badge of the appropriate level to open up. These badges spawn semi-randomly across the sector. -Added the Beast Detectors, automated devices that produce a blaring alarm when it detects the presence of a beast nearby. -Fixed an issue where the mouse would dissapear when hitting "tab" while interacting with certain widgets (mainly the pause…
- Going on vacation! - 6 January 2026
I have been working every day on the upcoming overhaul update of sector L-4 but it's now time for me to take a break. As the title implies, I am going on vacation for the whole month of january in sweden to see my girlfriend (you know her, she voices the lady in green!) This does mean that I cannot work on the game in the meantime, so this is gonna delay the release by, well, a month. HOWEVER, I don't want people to think that I gave up or whatever, I have not, and I will likely spend time in sweden brainstorming with my girlfriend about some of the ideas I've been having lately. Maybe we'll even record some of the new voicelines I wrote for her, who knows. To give you all something to chew on, here's a couple of screenshots of some of the new things this update will add. Removed most of the repetitive empty hallways, instead fused them into larger rooms for more variety and easier land…
- Patch V.1.7 - 6 December 2025
Not much to see here, just minor adjustments to the Ringleader and a mouse sensitivity setting
- Upcoming content for L-4 - 3 December 2025
I have come to the decision to go back on a promise I made to myself to not add any content to an existing sector. My biggest regret regarding L-4 is the lack of worthwhile exploration, which is something I was going to work on, but did not have the time. The last 2 weeks of developement I spent overwhelmed with work, college, caught the flu and had a huge cyst in my shoulder become infected. This is something that has been bothering me since release, and I could see in those that played that some of the biggest dissapointments came from seeing certain key areas be empty. I intended to make them available later on with items obtained in the latter sectors, but fuck that. I will be working on a patch that will polish the game significantly. I will improve certain visuals, environments, add new special items/lore items to some key areas and most importantly, the sub-reactor will become ex…
- Path V.1.5 - 25 November 2025
Re-added the tiny crosshair at the center of the screen to make interacting with small objects easier Reduced the Spider's chase speed (from 620 to 585) Small changes to the Ringleader and the chances to escape the Spider's den
- Patch V.1.4 - 19 November 2025
I forgot to change the version on the menu, so it'll still say V.1.3, sorry about that. Hey hey hey, a few more bug fixes and some slight adjustements overall, nothing huge in this patch. I've been working on the new sector for a bit now, I have a lot of mechanics in mind, a cool environment that's taking shape and I think it'll be even better than L-4. But for now here are the changes: Fixed certain spots being impossible to reach by some of the beasts, leading to unintended safe-spots. Changed the half-empty antibiotics having a 1/2 chance of curing your infection to instead making it so that it only works on the earlier stages of infection. If you only partially cure a bleeding wound, the next bandage/medkit you use is now guaranteed to cure the bleeding. Fixed an issue where the Wishing Door would not give you the narration text associated with the bargain you make. Fixed the credit…
- IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE DOOR - 15 November 2025
There was a known issue with the electrical maintenance door opening when it shouldn't that had been fixed in the past, but it turns out there was more than one thing causing conflicts with this door. If you have unlocked the door to the sub-reactor in your playthrough, there is a glitch that will cause the electrical maintenance door to be unlocked once you save and reload the game. This is not intended, this door should not open under these circumstances, and it will no longer do so. The electrical maintenance keys are tied to an important scripted event that will not occur if you do not pick them up. Please note that this does not constitue a softlock, the game CAN progress normally even after this, so there is no need to restart your playthrough, HOWEVER: you will miss out on a large quantity of content by doing so. This also means that the sub-reactor door will be locked again, as…
- Patch V.1.3 - 12 November 2025
Some pretty major bugs and issues fixed in this patch, I apologize that they even stayed in the game that long (Hopefully) fixed a glitch where your arm would become invisible Decreased the rate at which batteries drain from your flashlight by 20% Made it impossible for bleeding wounds to become infected before you reach a certain threshold of bloodloss, but also increased the chance of infection once you pass that threshold Fixed an issue where you would still die despite returning to the medical center after shutting the power off The Spider can no longer place traps in several spots that could severely hinder progression such as stairs, pipe-rooms and certain cramped hallways (please keep in mind that if you have saved your game after the spider has placed traps in such spaces, they will still appear there, but they'll dissapear after a while, after which you can save to get rid of t…
- Devlog 25/11/10 - 11 November 2025
Well this break lasted long enough, time to get back to work... eventually. My vision of the next sector is still hazy, I have a multitude of ideas that I am VERY eager to get to work on but I still need time to really bring them together into something cohesive. I have a pretty clear idea of what I want the next beasts to be like, so that's the first thing I'll be working on. I also know that it will be a civilian sector, meaning that you'll be exploring the areas in which some of the Remainer's inhabitants lived in their day to day lives. Beyond that, I am unsure of what this sector will truly become. This sector will be less like a maze than L-4, but I'm not 100% sure what it will be like, I would like to avoid just making a huge key-hunt. The main idea I have as of now is to have several items required to access the final part of the sector scattered across the map to still favor ex…
- Patch V.1.2 - 10 November 2025
Several changes here that I had not myself planned to make but after they were suggested I thought to myself "why not?" Added a setting to change the intensity of the pixelation effect, as well changed the default pixelated resolution from 300x300 to 320x320 Fixed bandages regenerating some of your health even without having the skill unlocked in the skill tree Nerfed the Hunter slightly Adjusted the way the Ringleader considers you when you are on a different floor Added a hint system that lets you find out more about your cause of death and how to avoid it in the game over screen Fixed some posters that you couldn't interact with Various minor tweaks
- Patch V.1.1 - 2 November 2025
And so it begins. First patch of the game to fix a few bugs and make some minor tweaks here and there. Increased the rarity of certain encounters Fixed the credit card displaying the Bible's document image (Hopefully) fixed the electrical maintenance door opening by itself Optimizied some of the code to make the game lighter Fixed the electrical lever not behaving as intended
- Welcome aboard - 30 October 2025
It is done, my game is finally out and in the open for all to see and experience. There is one hiccup though, and that is the fact that (for some reason) Steam needs to review the demo page for my game and that can take around a week (even though i purposefully didn't enable the option for it to get its own page but whatever.)This means that my initial plan is slightly delayed. The idea is that the game will receive new content as additional sectors to explore, for now, sector L-4 is the only one available. The thing is, I also want L-4 to remain free indefinitely in the form of a demo available for people to try out the game and get a feel of if they want to get the full version. In short, this means that until a new sector comes out, which will take at least 6 months, the demo will have the same amount of content as the paid version. The only difference is that when new content is add…
