• minor update v56 - 9 May 2026

  fix for some players having no menu on the main screen. This was due to incorrect json parsing of numbers when loading the menu position resulting in a number like 10.0000000001 ending up as 100000000001 and so pushing the menu extremely far off screen. Before this update the manual fix was to open the file %LOCALAPPDATA%Low\Crafty Pickle Games Limited\Pigeon Hunter\savegame.json and set scrollViewYPosition at the bottom to 0. Thanks to Zen for the bug report

  First of all, a big thank you to everyone who's taken the time to play the game. We've thoroughly enjoyed reading the reviews and have listened to lots of your feedback. In our first big update we've addressed:💾 A save system!If you haven't quite found all the animals and need to stop, don't fret. Your progress now saves and if actually wanted to start again there's always the reset button in the menu. ➡️ A skip system!Really can't find that last pigeon and it's driving you crazy? Just bring up the menu and click skip and it will unlock the next stage. Think that's boring? • Pigeon Hunter Release!! - 2 April 2026

  We're thrilled to finally be able to release the full version of Pigeon Hunter. This projects been really special for me as all the artwork was hand drawn by my mum! Getting to release hasn't been quite as smooth as I hoped as I've been ill for the last 3 weeks and haven't quite managed to do the usual last minute bug fixing and polishing. So please, if you find anything let me know!! I also plan on doing a mac build and a few tweaks to make it playable on the steam deck.Regardless I'm still very proud of what we've achieved. If you enjoy playing please let us know and maybe we'll make some more games like it.
