Multiplayer mayhem!After a really successful multiplayer playtest, you can now host and join games in the demo too! Get your squad ready and go defend Larebor from its enemies!Distance indicatorsOur Airship's incredible landcrew has updated all of our planes to be able to gauge the distance from the detected planes, and you will be able to see it next to the name of the pilot! This is incredibly useful to decide whether or not to shoot that missile (the answer is always yes!).Rebalanced planes"No plan survives the first contact with the enemy" is a great quote that we live for. Bullet Hell, but Smooth!The game was running poorly when there were a lot of bullets flying. The bullet system was reworked from the ground up to better optimize it. Now the game runs really smooth in 5v5 mode, even when all of the planes start to shoot at the same time! Welcome to bullet hell!Planes Fall Apart (Literally!)Now, destroying modules is not only easier but more effective and visually epic! When a plane loses a wing, the wing will detach from the plane and drop to the ground! - Minor changes to the demo - 26 August 2025
Fixes:Camera reset: After respawning, the camera wasn’t resetting correctly and the direction vector was slightly off-center. This is now fixed and player camera should always reset correctly.Multiplayer errors: Some legacy multiplayer code was still being used, causing background errors that led to occasional lag spikes. All the old code for the multiplayer is now removed and the new multiplayer system is being worked on.AI aiming: The AI was struggling to aim properly with the guns, causing them to miss too often. AI now knows how to use the new guns and it is quite dangerous!Balance and improvements:Buccaneer:The ammo for the Buccaneer was increased to 150.AI:AI is now more aggressive and relies more on the guns.AI will now jink when an enemy is too close and aiming at them.AI now shoots moreThanks for playing the demo, and good hunting, pilots!
- Demo hotfix - 26 August 2025
Controller respawn bug fixed:There was a bug causing players to lose control of their planes when they respawned using a gamepad. This is no longer a problem, and the gamepad works as intended.Rebalances:Bullets dealt less damage than intended, making the Time-To-Kill too high. This has been fixed, and it should now take roughly the same time to kill an enemy as it did before the fire rate changes.The in-game GUI has been slightly resized to improve readability, especially on small screens or TVs.Camera shake:Camera shake was not being applied correctly when flying outside the plane’s optimum range. Now, players receive visual feedback thanks to the camera shake.

This new texture has been hand-drawn and is a proof of concept of more things to come.
