• Early Access Release - 13 July 2026

  Hello everyone! Today is a special day for us—Unfriend is now available in Early Access! To celebrate the launch, we're excited to share a brand-new trailer showcasing the latest version of the game. We want to start by thanking everyone who has followed and supported us throughout this first stage of development. Your feedback and encouragement have meant a lot to us. But this is only the beginning! Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing our development roadmap so you'll know exactly what features and improvements are planned for the future. As a reminder, while the game is in Early Access, you'll find an in-game feedback tool that lets you send us your thoughts and suggestions directly. • Media Type: Video - 8 July 2026

  Hi everyone! As the title suggests, this announcement is to explain our decision not to include video media in the Early Access release. For those who did not participate in our playtest earlier this year, the playtest version included video files as a media type. These videos could be used to generate unique scenarios, just like the other media types. However, after reviewing all of the feedback we received, we decided to postpone this feature.There are a few reasons for this decision. First, sending video files takes much longer than other types of media, which raised concerns about whether our current transfer system is the right solution for the game. Second, videos introduce an additional layer of complexity that does not exist with the other media types: audio. • Pre-Release Demo - 10 June 2026

  Hey Everyone!Studio Pimbina is thrilled to open the doors of Unfriend with a free demo accessible to all players. This is the perfect opportunity to discover the game, see if it's for you, and share your feedback with us. We're still actively listening to community suggestions as we continue development. The demo offers a sample of the full experience and includes three media categories: Words, Drawings, and Images. You'll be able to play through six unique scenarios (two for each media type), giving you just enough content to uncover the mysteries of Unfriend and leave you wanting more. The demo will remain available throughout Steam Next Fest in June, where Unfriend will be featured. • Dev Post #3 - QOL Improvements Following the playtest - 14 May 2026

  Hello everyone!Following the playtest, we received a lot of great feedback and recommendations that helped us improve the game and make it even better for everyone!Here’s a list of the changes and implementations added so far:Modified the way a game starts by electing the first player as the "Room Master," giving them the ability to start the game as soon as enough players have joined the lobby.
