- Simplified Chinese Localization - 18 August 2026
Hello good fellows!I'm very happy to announce Tabletops & Bottoms now has a Simplified Chinese localization! As some of you may know, the original plan was to have that translation at launch, along with French, Brazil Portuguese and Russian, but I ended up having to scrap that and hire another person instead. This new localization is the work of V.For now, I don't plan on adding further translations for Tabletops & Bottoms, unless I have a lot of demands for a specific language. Now, I'll get back to work on adding new events, same-sex content and stuff for a worthy 1.1. In the meantime, welcome Chinese-speaking friends! Make yourselves at home~
- Some summer news - 17 July 2026
Greetings y'all! We're deep into July and I thought it'd be a good time to share some news about the game and what I've been up to lately.Simplified Chinese localizationIt's shaping up quite nicely! I've had the game's text translated and I spent these last few days editing the cards and board with, as you can see below. Now all that remains is to send the localizer a test build to make sure everything is displayed as intended in game.Changes and fixesPushing the Chinese localization update in August (let's call it 1.0.5) will also be a good occasion to fix a few things based on some of the feedback I got. Typos and bugs, obviously, but also:Better and cleaner UI to see and select the Items currently in handTweaking the event system to make sure some things like the Heir or the Relics, with questlines (and achievements) tied to them appear more often after your first encounter. Some sort…
- More content, same sex scenes... What to expect from future updates? - 19 May 2026
Howdy folks~I'm very glad to say Tabletops & Bottoms' launch has overall been a success! The game has sold a little more than 1000 copies in a couple of days, which I find absolutely amazing. These initial sales are already life-changing as I was in dire need of financial stability and can now focus on this as a full-time activity. Now, I know Tabletops & Bottoms isn't perfect. Some of you were disappointed by the lack of content, or the lack of same-sex scenes. So I'll work to change that and have the game be the best version of itself! With 5 enemies for Findrel and 5 enemies for Layla, adding the gay and lesbian sex scenes will add a total of 20 new scenes to the game. I was unable to afford this for the 1.0 release, but I can now safely commission Pululon with a new batch of illustrations.Aside from that, I also have a few ideas for more items and events to add so I can't wait to get s…
- Tabletops & Bottoms is launching today! - 14 May 2026
Today is launch day and I'm feeling a whole new cocktail of emotions : joy, relief, tiredness, pride and a healthy dose of anxiety. There's probably many things that could have been improved, and some definitely will in future patches along with additional content, but the game is done and I'm frankly happy with it.Most of all, I'm now joining the club of "18+ devs who managed to complete a game", which is a feat in and by itself. Tabletops & Bottoms was designed a little more than one year ago, with a small scope in mind.So what now, aside from hoping for the game's success? While Pululon works on same-sex scenes to be added in a later (free) update, I have another ambitious, ongoing game I can now go back to. But what I'd truly want is for Tabletops & Bottoms to become a franchise of sorts.First, I know there's a lot more I can do with the game's mechanics, and building on top of the c…
- Adding a Russian localization! - 7 May 2026
Priviet, friends! I'm very happy to announce an official Russian localization for Tabletops & Bottoms! This is made possible by the work of Powergirl, who was able to finish adding everything just in time for the release (May 14th, remember?)I initially hoped to announce a Chinese localization as well, but sadly due to a few issues I wasn't able to get it ready for the release. Worry not, though! It's only postponed and will be introduced in a later update instead..Now all I have to do is find some room to fit a few additional flags in the Settings menu...
- Official release on May 14th! - 27 April 2026
Yes, you read that right. Tabletops & Bottoms will be coming on Steam on May 14th!I had initially set the release date (both on Steamworks and in my busy mind) as 29th April, but suffered from some delay after some back and forth with the Steam review team. The most important was to have the release be in Spring, as this was what I publically indicated, but not too late in spring so as to not be too close to the Summer Sales. First half of May seems like a good fit, so here we are. See you very soon!
- Meet the Demons - 10 April 2026
Lurking in the deepest parts of the dungeon, these denizens of the dark closely watch over any soul who dares enter their domain. Should they decide to strike, their prey would need both wits and might to fend them off. Either that, or very peculiar negotiation skills...Now we're getting serious! The Demons act as the final foes in Tabletops & Bottoms and can only show up upon reaching the final dungeon level (5). Facing them will require a high level and an even higher amount of Top or Bottom points, but the reward should be worth it.As far as the designs go, I originally thought of the Demon lady as a little curvier, but I'm really satisfied with how Pululon drew her. Both of their weapons were an obvious choice, especially as I first intended to call them Succubus and Incubus. In the end, Demon felt more fitting. Can't wait for you folks to see them in action!
- Steam Next Fest! - 21 February 2026
Heya all! Tabletops & Bottoms' release is getting closer, so the game will be taking part in Steam Next Fest, from February 23rd to March 3rd. For those unaware, Steam Next Fest takes place 4 times a year to promote new upcoming games (only once). For a game set to release shortly after, that's when Steam's algorithm will be the most helpful to gather wishlists. The only condition is to have a working demo, which means I will soon be updating the current one: expect some polishing, better controller support, localizations as well as new text on events you've already seen once. Just to be clear, aside from that, there won't be any new content shown.I really hope this Next Fest will draw some attention to Tabletops & Bottoms. Should the game be successful, I plan to renew the concept with other characters, other classes, other environments and even other dynamics beyond the straight ship.
- Here comes the Goblin Girls Trio! - 28 January 2026
They hunt together, whispering and giggling in the shadows as they stalk their prey. Like food, ale or a good prank, mating is for Goblins an activity best shared with friends.Look at that! The Goblin guy isn't the only one who brought his friends. Here are the two new gals who will complete the Goblin Girls Trio, Tabletops & Bottoms' fourth enemy.I wanted the new designs to have some piercings and a little bone headgear. As usual, Pululon went above and beyond, coming up with the two new weapons himself. The axe and slingshot both fit perfectly for Goblins, don't you think?
- Localizations in French and Portuguese from Brazil - 19 January 2026
Greetings folks! PopotoProd here, making my first post of 2026 to confirm Tabletops & Bottoms will be localized in both French and Portuguese from Brazil! The Brazil Portuguese localization is handled by Thiago Mania while I'm working on the French localization myself. At this point, I'm still in the implementation stage, but you can expect the addition of these two languages for the next version of the demo.
- The Goblin Brought His Pals! - 16 December 2025
Rumors spread fast in the dungeon. Some talk about a human warrior who’d rather soothe Goblins with her body than lift her giant sword…Layla will soon have to face a whole new challenge, with the first enemy of the game now bringing his friends along! Here, take a peek at the Goblin trio lurking in the deepest parts of the dungeon. Pululon is currently working on the scenes themselves. After so many 2-characters interactions so far, being able to show group sex should bring some fresh air. Obviously, the goblin ladies will be next! ;)
- Demo Release! - 25 November 2025
Once upon a time, there was a silly little dev who worked on a game called Tabletops & Bottoms. The silly little dev prepared a demo and, to make sure said demo would have time to get Steam's approval, set the release date as November 28th.On the 21st, the silly little dev got all green lights and clicked on "Publish". Unbeknownst to the silly little dev, the demo would get released, right away and not automatically on the 28th.Oh well. This announcement comes a bit late considering the demo has already been played by 64 people, but here we go nonetheless! At least you can find it more easily now that I've found how to display it as a green button on the store page.Anyway, for now the game only features 10 events, 10 items and a few foes (Goblins and Kobolds, with Slimes not having any pictures yet). It also stops when either player reaches 75 Top/Bottom points (instead of 200 in the ful…
- Slimes reveal! - 7 October 2025
Hello there~I thought for a while of what to put in my very first Steam post and I couldn't settle for anything less than teasing some sprites. So here they are, the Slime guy you face as Layla, and the Slime girl you face as Findrel. Both can be fought, or seduced in either a dominant or submissive way. After Goblin thieves in green and Kobold mages in red, I wanted to have the Slimes to be blue-colored and to look more like tank. I also asked the artist, Pululon, for a small emo vibe and a more mature look, especially for the dude. References images for humanoid slimes were... rather juvenile, to say the least. Giving them leather, "gladiator-like" clothes was his idea and I totally dig it.Anyway, here's another little peek at the submissive version Slime M with Layla.
