AT THE CROSSROADS OF SPIRITUAL AWE AND OPPRESSIVE DOOM Dahla is an exile. Once a part of the psychic order ruling Titan, she had noble dreams for the moon. Now she grieves alone amidst the frozen dunes. Kalsang is a prodigy with the potential to cure the Gliss epidemic. But as a layman, his gifts are doomed to die in the shadow of the Convent's floating temples. When the Psymmularch, supreme authority of the Convent, is consumed by a violent explosion and chaos is unleashed throughout the Final Kingdom, the unlikely pair are united by opportunity. Linked by psyche and by purpose, Kalsang and Dahla leave their shattered dreams above the ice to chase a glint of hope in the nightmare below.
