- Demo Patch Now Live - 6 March 2026
Hi, Thanks so much to everyone who has played our demo so far - more than 1000 people have played the demo so far, which is way above and beyond what we had expected. As with any release, players spotted a couple off issues after the launch, including this hilarious softlock which I cannot believe we did not spot: More importantly, we pushed an update that fixes our dialogue parser for French, among other languages. This bug only occurred if a Windows PC was set to the given language and prevented the game from working properly. None of us have PCs with languages affected so this was quite a doozy to fix. Nonetheless, it is fixed now, so you can climb the history of ideas regardless of which language your PC is set to. Good luck on your climb! -Reliable Plumbing Services
- The Fallosophy demo is live on Steam - 5 March 2026
You can jump in and start climbing right away. This demo contains the opening section of the game, beginning in the Classical Antiquity area and climbing upward into the early Medieval philosophy region. It’s a chance to learn the fundamentals of the game and see how far you can push yourself before gravity wins. It only takes two buttons to play. Mastering them is the hard part. What’s in the Demo The demo is the beginning of the climb. You will start in the earliest reaches of the world, among ruins inspired by Classical Antiquity, and push upward toward the Medieval era. At first the flippers feel simple. Two buttons, a spark of motion, and a long way to go. Then the movement starts to reveal itself. A gentle rebound that carries farther than expected. A precise edge hit that changes everything. A quiet moment where the ball rests in control before the next ascent. Slowly you begin t…

- Sign up for our Beta! - 7 January 2026
Happy New Year! We’re excited to announce that the first public playtest of Fallosophy will be launching next week. You can sign up for this beta here!If you’re new here: Fallosophy is a difficult pinball platformer where you ascend a giant vertical world shaped by the history of philosophy. There are no scores, no upgrades, and no checkpoints—just gravity, momentum, and your own decisions. If Jump King and Getting Over It had an overly reflective pinball cousin, this would be it. Over the past year, we’ve been working hard to develop Fallosophy to a point where we’re ready to put it in more players’ hands. This playtest is an important step for us: we want to see how the game feels outside our own builds, habits, and assumptions.Where will the playtest be?We’re experimenting a bit and hosting the playtest on Itch.io.The playtest will run entirely in your browser via WebGL, meaning:No do…

- Announcing Fallosophy - 5 December 2025
Hi everyone,We’re excited to finally share Fallosophy with you. After a long period of quiet development, the Steam page is now live.Fallosophy is a minimalist vertical pinball platformer about ascent, repetition, and loss of progress. You climb a towering world using only two buttons. There are no checkpoints, no upgrades, no savers, and no safety nets. Falling is not a setback. It is the core of the experience. Each layer of the climb is inspired by a different era in the history of philosophy and search for meaning, from the cave of ignorance to the fractured heights of modern thought. The game never explains what this means. It simply asks you to keep climbing. You play as Baetyl, a spark of thought ascending through gravity, doubt, and momentum. Along the way, a distant voice known as the Philosopher King guides you upward. Whether it is guiding or controlling you is something you wi…
