• New Unlockable Challenge Modes Added - 16 May 2026

  New Unlockable Challenge Modes Added. 9 new challenge modes have been added to the game and can be unlocked by completing either Normal, Hard or Extreme difficulty modes.The new challenge modes have been designed to test the sharpest players by altering the game rules and will offer more bonus scores for level completions. This should push the high scores table gaps even further between the best players of the game.Implementing these changes was tough and I have tried my best to ensure no bugs are evident but please report any issues to me via the community discussions section of the game.Thanks for your continued support and I hope you enjoy the new challenges!Paul

• New UI Options and various new screen resolutions supported (Up to 4K) - 13 May 2026

  New UI Options and various new screen resolutions supported (Up to 4K). All in game UI options have been split up into 3 separate menus.Various sound level sliders have been added to adjust different sound channels in the game and there is also now an option to change the screen resolution from the Graphics menu. This has been added in response to a user request in the community section on steam. It has taken a while to implement but you can now adjust the screen to best suit your system.Game, Sound and Graphics options are now available in the game.These options will be added to the game demo in the near future.

• Easy Mode Adjustment - 27 April 2026

  Easy Mode is now easier. This is a difficult shmup to get through and to make the game more accessible to players new to the genre I have made a change to the Easy Mode difficulty of the game.When starting a game on Easy Mode the player will immediately receive 3 x Shield Points which grants 3 direct hits (from standard enemy bullets only) before the player loses a life. When the player loses a life and the ship respawns the player will again be granted 3 x Shield Points (providing the shield points are below a value of 3)This change has also been applied to the DEMO version of the game and will not effect other difficulty modes which will remain the same.New difficulty modes are planned to be implemented soon for players that want a difficult and pure shoot em up challenge.Thanks for playing ;-)

  Expanding Ship Energy BombsAdded a new special weapon to the game. When activating the Expanding Ship Energy Bombs special card your ship will begin expanding out energy bombs which will damage all enemies in the radius. It will also destroy enemy bullets if they are within the blast radius.

  Auto Smart BombsAdded a new special weapon to the game. When activating the Auto Smart Bombs special card 5 x Auto Smart Bombs will be added to your HUD (a new icon will appear). Your ship will monitor the number of enemies on screen and when 4 enemies or more are detected a screen clearing bomb will be deployed, depleting your remaining Auto Smart Bombs count by 1.

  Arch ShotsAdded a new special weapon to the game. Activating the Arch Shots special card will give you 30 seconds of intense fire which fans out from your ship in the direction of your main weapon (switchable with the direction change button).Shots will expand in size giving you an opportunity to take out or damage multiple enemies with less requirement for accuracy.Further enhancements will be coming soon!

  Static Support FightersAdded a new special weapon to the game. Support fighters will be deployed to fly in tight formation with your ship when activating the Static Support Fighters special card. They will provide fire against any enemies in their direct line of sight. Support fighters are not as fast however and they can be destroyed easily by the enemy with a direct shot to their energy core.Keep them alive long enough to activate further special cards to deploy multiple support fighters and widen the formation to lay down more support fire.Further enhancements will be coming soon!

  Sweeping LazersAdded a new special weapon to the game. The Sweeping Lazers special weapon will deploy lazers your ship in that will travel outwards horizontally and vertically across the screen. Any weak enemies in their path will be obliterated.Further enhancements will be coming soon!

  Lazer TrapsAdded a new special weapon to the game. The Lazer Traps special weapon will deploy pairs of spheres from your ship in random directions. After some distance the sphere pairs will connect a lazer beam between them that will damage any enemy passing through the beam. The spheres will retract after approximately 20 seconds.Further enhancements will be coming soon!

  Bouncing Energy BladesAdded a new special weapon to the game. The Bouncing Energy Blades special weapon will send energy blades from your ship in random directions and will bounce around the play field dealing bomb level damage to any enemy they come into contact with.Further enhancements will be coming soon!

  Predator GunsAdded a new special weapon to the game. The Predator Guns special weapon will activate 2 x Predator Guns that fly behind and to the left / right of your ship targeting the closest enemy.
