  This one's a big one! Enemy attacks are much easier to read, kills feel a lot punchier, and the upgrade screen finally shows your whole build. Thanks to everyone who sent feedback – a lot of this came straight from you. What's new Attack warnings – Enemies now mark the ground before they shoot, so you can see exactly where the shots will come from. Your build at a glance – The upgrade screen now shows your weapons, relics and pacts, and previews what each card would change. Kills feel better – Kill streaks, flying bones and rubble, a tiny freeze on hit and a short hitstop on big kills. Visible dodges – When Evasion saves you, you'll now see and hear it. Personal best – Beat your best score on a stage and you get a proper celebration. Threat panel – Once Threat kicks in, a small panel next to the progress bar shows what it's doing to your run. • Steam Next Fest is over - Next steps - 5 March 2026

  Steam Next Fest is over!a lot of people played the demo of Survivors Gate and I got plenty of feedback to make fixes and improvements to the game. Here is a list of some planned features / changes: Better difficulty balancing. Levels will be split in progressable stages for a better controlable difficulty curve and unlock progression. Expect an easier and smoother start while we can ramp up the difficulty later.Multiple weapons and upgrades will receive a rebalance, redesign or replacement (e.g. artillery bow will be scraped and instead introduce the heartseeker bow with homing projectiles).Stats screen to track and display what upgrades you collected so far and your character power.Classes will now have different stats to fit more into their class fantasy.Quests will be expanded with different categories, more to unlock and filtering options.Add more unlockables in the market (weapon a…
