- Crashes on Newer Nvidia Cards - 13 May 2026
We are aware of stability issues affecting Dangerous Golf on some newer NVIDIA RTX systems, particularly newer RTX 40/50-series GPUs and certain Windows 11 laptop configurations.Our investigation suggests this is related to the older NVIDIA Flex/CUDA physics middleware used by the game for some environmental effects and destruction simulation. On some modern drivers and hardware configurations this can result in crashes during loading or heavy Smashbreaker/destruction moments.If you are experiencing crashes, we currently recommend trying the following:Launch Dangerous GolfGo to Options > GraphicsSet Flex to OffRestart the gameThanks to Steam player Swift who discovered the solution and to everyone who has taken the time to send crash reports and hardware details. It has genuinely helped us identify the pattern.
- Coop Achievements Fixed - 14 December 2016
We had a few issues reported with Coop Achievements not firing. We have managed to fix this server side, no patch required. As such if you have any missing Achievements these should now update without any need to play the game. However you may want to load up a Coop hole and this will ensure that the checking process fires and any missing Achievements will be updated. Thanks to those players who helped us discover and fix this problem.

A new patch is available which includes the option to skip the training. Training is available to watch again in the Clubhouse menu. We do recommend watching it if you want to understand how to score big.

We have had this reported as a fix for the infinite loop issue.Please try it and let us know how you get on: Go here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145and download Visual C++ and install. Then the game should run fine.

We have today made one fix for the Infinite Loop some players were experiencing on install and launch. However we believe this will not fix the issue in all instances and have reached out to Epic for a more comprehensive fix. Once we hear back from them we will let players know. In addition we are creating a beta branch with the option to skip the training video that runs at the start of the game.

In the first update we added Mouse and Keyboard support and fixed some bugs that were affecting our players. This new update fixes the biggest issues players have raised with us and will be live very shortly. Fast Restarts We've reduced them from 30secs to 2-3 secs and it transforms the game in Single Player, in Co-Op and in Party Golf. Simplified Control System Option We've implemented simpler SmashBreaker and Drop controls and we've also added in game prompts for all actions. Note that if you have a previous save game the controls will default to the original, more advanced controls. You can change this in Settings. More Control on Tee and Putt Introduced 'Free Aim' on the Tee and in Putt. Aim where you want on every hole, 360 degrees of movement. New Follow Cams On the Tee and the Putt and we've also improved Camera Collision with the Ball. (The Follow Cameras can be turned off and o…

We have now pushed our first patch 1.2 LIVE. This patch includes: Mouse and keyboard support (see caveats below). Fix for audio corruption issue. Fix for no audio issue. Settings and How to Play have been moved to the Main Menu as players were having issues finding them. All Achievements now functioning correctly. Removed look restriction on all holes and removed hold on tee so camera will move to the ball quicker after teeing off. Language fixes. Thanks to everyone who took the beta branch and helped us confirm that our fixes are working. The mouse and keyboard support comes with the following caveats: There is no support as yet for remapping your controls. This will come as soon as we can get to it.
