- Wormies Patch 1.1.6 - Small Bug Fix Patch - 29 July 2026
Hey everyone! We got a small bug fix patch today. Bug Fixes -Fixed the Wormcademy dropout achievement pity system. -Fixed alt tabbing while dragging a wormie and then picking up another wormie resulting in the first wormie to be frozen far outside the crate.
- Wormies 1.1.5 - Small QoL Patch - 25 July 2026
Hey everyone! We got another small QoL patch today! Changes - Tweaked the dough wormie to make them more distinct from the flour wormie. - Disabled headpatting, we originally made this feature before we added the regular petting method, but left it in because we thought it was still funny. However we have seen some confusion where players thought the headpatting had to be used to clean dirty gem wormies. That combined with accidentally headpatting while trying to feed wormies made us decide to disable this feature for now. We do have plans to bring it back in Act 2 so stay tuned! Bug Fixes - Fixed cookie upgrades not fully working as intended.
- Wormies Patch 1.1.4 - Save File Fixes - 21 July 2026
Hey everyone! Bit of a less fun patch today, during the last week we received 4 reports about broken savefiles leading to the game locking itself up. First of all we want to apologise to anyone that was affected by this and who might have lost their save files. Fixes -Corrupted save files will no longer hide all other save files and make them inaccessible. Instead they now display as “Corrupted” and can be deleted like regular save files. They also no longer stop new save files from being made. -We found scenarios where it was possible for the backup files to get corrupted, this could, in some cases, lead to your save data being wiped. This should no longer happen and backups are handled much more strictly now. Hey there!Today we’re adding support for controllers, Steam Deck and Linux! Changes-Added controller support.-Added Steam Deck support. While the game already technically worked on Steam Deck the controls weren’t great, this has now been greatly improved!-Freeze on Hover is now automatically toggled on for first time Steam Deck users, this makes it easier to pick up wormies.-Added Linux support. Hey everyone, today we're bringing a few new fun cosmetics to the game! Changes -Added a new packing peanut color option. -Added 25 alternative color versions of existing wormie hats. -Added 6 new hats. -Added a new winter crate. -You can now apply crate cosmetics to the breeding crate. -Added 2 new achievements. Hey everyone, today we got a small follow up patch for yesterdays update! Changes -Increased the minimum amount of orders in between elusive offers. Bug Fixes -Actually fixed cookie wormies bribing other wormies to escape their crates. -Fixed Gem wormies being able to have max happiness particles in some situations. -Fixed sticky note opening sound missing when using the W hotkey.
- Wormies Patch 1.0.7 QoL Improvements! - 4 May 2026
Changes -Added 2 extra crates, so you can now keep 60 extra wormies. -Reduced the crate upgrade prices. -Added a button to open up the crate stickynotes, you can press them to move to specific crates. You can also press W to toggle them. -You can now use number keys 1-7 to move between crates. -Improved moving bigger distances, going from crate 3 to the sellbox now happens in one short direct slide instead of sliding through each crate in between. -Added a toggle to enable/disable wormie happiness increasing over time per crate. Changes -Made elusive wormies easier to obtain, elusive offer chance now increases by 2% each time you don’t receive the offer after filling a regular or webshop offer. Resets back to 5% when you receive the offer. -Added a hint for the wolf wormie in MyWormieList. -Striped wormies are now sorted in the same order as spotted wormies. -Cookie burst ability will no longer trigger if there are already more than 300 cookies placed. Bug Fixes -Fixed headpatting wormies not working after opening and closing wormie info. -Fixed new offers for elusive wormies never coming in at all.
