- Build 100 (YAY!) - 8 August 2026
- You can no longer drive backwards while your engine is off- Increased truck's performance on inclines- Potentially fixed a rare bug which broke truck's physics when you exit it (if it still happens, please let me know)- Small trees have physics now, so you can bend and even uproot them with enough force- Added sharpening setting to the graphics menu. The game's visuals are suppose to be blurry by design, but in case someone doesn't like it, they have three sharpening options to choose from now- Modified the screen noise shader, made it fall off in intensity closer to the center of the screen, so noise is more visible in the corners where it's less distractingWith the introduction of breakable trees, I had to make a static/dinamic object manager, which keeps track of tree instances and appropriately swaps between non-interactable and interactable versions. It's a brand new system, so if…

- Prospice playtest cumulative pathnotes - 6 August 2026
BUILD 97- If you hold accelerator while parking brake is engaged, the brakes will screech to (hopefully) give audio feedback to the fact you aren't moving because the brakes are on- Made terrain culling less aggressive, this should fix terrain chunks unloading at the bottom of your screen sometimes- Added an option to always keep the cursor on the screen, in case controller sends continuous input to the game and forces it to always hide the cursor- Got rid of a few grass patches in places where they shouldn't grow- Added a box in the silo room in the hub02, to direct players right, towards the next room, because this round room was a bit confusing otherwise- Increased base winch rope length to 12 m and upgrade bumps it up to 18- Decoupled photo evaluation logic from physical collider of a photo subject. Photo-related geometry can now be scaled up independently, to make aligning shots ea…

- ARCHREP 01 - 11 December 2025
We are approaching the 200 follower mark on Steam! As a way of saying thank you, we will begin to gradually lift the veil of mystery through a series of blog posts. To start, our first ARCHREP will explore the island's history, setting the stage for the game. Welcome to Project Crimson Aurora. If you are reading this, you have passed all background checks and have been assigned to the 13th Strategic Logistics Group. From now on you will carry an honorable title of Pathfinder. For operational efficiency, it is vital for all personnel to familiarize themselves with the brief history of Nastrondey and Crimson Aurora's presence on the island. Explorers searching for the Northeast Passage first recorded sightings of the island in the 16th century. Though no landfall was made, the landmass soon began appearing on contemporary nautical charts. At the time, it was completely covered by ice and…
