• Nakara 1.1.2 Hotfix Notice - 7 September 2026

  Hello, this is Redspike.I’ve released the 1.1.2 hotfix to fix the save issues that came up after the recent 1.1 update.The problem was that some save data from older versions wasn’t carrying over properly when it was loaded and saved in the newer version.To fix this, I changed the save system so the game can properly detect older save data and move it over to the new save location.While working on the previous hotfixes, I was trying to fix the issue without fully understanding how GZDoom handles save data. Because of that, similar problems ended up happening more than once.I’m really sorry for all the inconvenience caused by these repeated hotfixes.I was honestly getting pretty discouraged as the problems kept coming up, but everyone who reported issues, helped with testing, and kept sending kind messages and support really helped me keep going.I’m very grateful to everyone who continue…

• Nakara 1.1.1 Hotfix - 1 September 2026

  I have released a hotfix to address an issue where existing settings and progress data could fail to load correctly in some environments after the Nakara 1.1 update, especially on the Steam version. Starting with the 1.1.1 hotfix, Nakara's settings and progress data will be stored in the following location instead of the game installation folder: Documents\My Games\Nakara\nakara-USERNAME.ini If you have existing settings or progress data from a previous version, the game will automatically copy and migrate it to the new location when you launch the game after updating. No manual file transfer is required, and your original data will remain in its previous location. I apologize for the inconvenience.
