An aggressively kinetic keyboard slappin' rhythm game. ⚠️DISCLAIMER!⚠️ This game is too intense for your operating system and it WILL try to thwart you from reaching peak fun. There are keyboard shortcuts which are handled by your operating system that you may inadvertently trigger while playing this game. For the best experience you will need to either rebind certain keyboard keys using external software, or pop them keycaps off before playing. Many modern gaming keyboards support these features, but double-check yours for these requirements. IT IS NOT ADVISED TO PLAY THIS ON A LAPTOP KEYBOARD 6 "BUTTON"S The essence of slapTrax focuses on an intuitive input system that matches the layout of your keyboard. There are six lanes which map to six different regions on your keyboard. Simply hit any one of the keys in that region to register a hit. No need to look down to check which keys you're pressing, just SLAP the general area. Both 60% and full-size QWERTY keyboards are supported with default keybindings. Custom keybindings are supported with an in-game utility which allows manual assignment of individual keys. GLOVES? BABY DIFFICULTY Start here and build your slapping technique! No gloves needed! BARE DIFFICULTY Begin to test your keyboard's limits. Introduces more complex patterns as well as cross-hand techniques. Fair warning, some charts in this difficulty rival those in SLAP! Just without any swipe notes! Comfortable to play without gloves. GLOVE DIFFICULTY Introduces swipe notes, requiring you to swiftly slide your hand across the keys. Gloves recommended. SLAP! DIFFICULTY Intense patterns requiring honed slapping skills. Nothing is off-limits here. Soft keycaps and gloves heavily recommended. SLAPPERS Play alongside your own slapChan character as they level up and gain rating alongside you.
