  I just pushed an update to the Groove Defense demo that revamps the tutorial.A lot of players discovered the game during Tower Defense Fest, and it became clear the opening minutes could do a better job introducing the core mechanics without slowing things down.So I rebuilt the tutorial to get players into real gameplay faster while making the fundamentals clearer.What’s changed• Faster intro to the core mechanics • Clearer explanation of tower placement and combat flow • Smoother onboarding into the first waveIf you tried the demo earlier this week, it’s worth jumping back in.And if you enjoy the game, adding it to your wishlist really helps while development continues toward release.

  We're in Steam Tower Defense Fest! March 9-16. Every tower you build doesn't just defend — it adds to the soundtrack. Drop a Drum tower and hear it lay down a beat. Add Bass, Pads, Lead — by the later waves, what you're hearing is a direct reflection of the choices you made early on. Enemies move to the tempo. Attacks land on the beat. But surviving comes down to strategy: tower placement, upgrade paths, and managing pressure across lanes before it overwhelms you. The Soundcheck Demo has four stages, each built around a distinct sound: Synthwave, Slasher Flick, 2010s Pop, and 80s.
