• Home Expansion Update - 15 September 2026

  Hi everyone, I've been working mostly towards exploration improvements and some flow/bugs fixes. Also I made a discord for the game! You can get in here: https://discord.gg/hBBCzdQb8t Exploration:This is the biggest change in this update. In the previous version, all rooms were triggered randomly and you can improve your chances of getting special rooms. Now I changed it to be a real map of the house. Special rooms are triggered by entering in those rooms, and you can reach new ones if you explore further on (advantage to The Adventurer here). The initial exploration skill is still wandering randomly in a house, but now with a random walker algorithm. You can upgrade to choose your direction if you have a SENSE OF DIRECTION. • Big Events, Small Fixes - 11 August 2026

  Hi everyone,I wanted to shared some of the last events that the game was featured and some of the future ones! Last month, I was in New York and I participated with the game in playtest events on Boshi's Place and Wonderville. It was a great experience to meet the NYC scene and to receive feedback on the game ! Also last weekend, Family Reunion was on theLeftfield collection at MCM Birmingham. A weird and experimental 16 game selection! Right now, the game is on display at the CyberFrames: Extra Lives exhibit on Boston CyberArts! And for the future, Family reunion is selected for the Aesthetica Film Festival Game awards in York, UK!   Hi everyone,first of all thanks for playing the game! This month, the game reached over 8000 plays on Itch! I received lots of comments about it.Based on your feedback, I've just released a new update for the demo! The main focus was on the event system. A New events added: Questioning, Toast & Drama events.Improved the regular Family Intervention events to have more RPG elements on it. Now depending on your luck, stats and upgrades you can bypass your family interventions (very low chance at first). Chatty has more chance on doing it. Trait answers now can also fail.Events on table: there is some chance for family members to appear on the table to disturb you.Good events: you can now unlock good family events triggered in a \ ambience that helps you.Music:New main track by Willy Fishman!   Minor bug fix Fixed Mom's intervention bug: Clicking to much makes mom to scold you, but there was a bug that she just doesn't stop.Fixed size of Upgrade Pop-Up because was too small for some Spanish texts.Modified the Mind/pocket section to leave more space to the "show used" Coming up a content update! • Family Reunion: The Appetizer (Demo) Gamescom Latam Update - 14 May 2026

  Hi everyone, a couple weeks ago, I've been In Sao Pablo at Gamescom Latam. I was finalist for Innovation and Best Latin American game (I didn't win in any of those T_T) and the game was beautifully displayed among the other finalists. The Big Festival Nominees games were spread around the event in four sections and mine was on the Open Zone, where I shared the space with other games that allow you to shape the world around you.(Love this pic of Frieren playing the game. Elf's time perception meet child's time perception)I also got interviewed by James Archer from Rock Paper Shotgun (!!) and he wrote this article that describes perfectly the game experience.
