- Optimization Patch - Retail Therapy V1.2.2 - 19 February 2026
We saw that loading HUD and swapping weapons during game-play was spiking resource usage so we have looked into how to resolve this issue so that those on lower end hardware were able to have a smoother gaming experience when playing. We have switched the data gathering mode in engine from "Lazy" to "Instant" so what does this mean? What this does is it will increase loading times ONLY A LITTLE, game is tiny after all, however this will reduce spikes in resource usage during game-play so this in turn should lead to a smoother experience. HAVE FUN!
- Retail Therapy Patch 1.2.1 - 20 December 2025
So for the past few weeks we have been working on a few different fixes and optimization even further for the game so our players on lower end GPUs are able to run the game alittle more smooooothly. We also realised WE HAD NO PLAT ACHIEVEMENT so we definitely needed to fix that. Bug Fixes: AI Pathing has been improved Enemies now throw a tantrum if they cannot get to the player (free kill woooooo) Achievements are all now functional Additions: Plat achievement for getting all other achievements has been added BIG changes: We have switched Retail therapy from running on Vulkan to DX11 to avoid a low level fatal error that was affecting some of our players games. This should help stability on those older cards but please let us know in our discord if you are still having problems :) HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!!
- Retail Therapy Patch Version 1.1.1 - 7 December 2025
With the new map being introduced we found the AI was getting stuck on certain elements within the map. We are still currently monitoring this and making changes as we update the maps ESPECIALLY with any new vertical elements being added in! AI Changes: AI path calculations have been altered on where they are able to stand on ledges General Fixes: Collision Boxes on ATM actors have been fixed Map wipe buttons have now been fixed to be on a one minute timer, we have no idea why they didn't do this in the first place BUT OH WELL ITS SORTED NOW :D
- Retail Therapy Update V1.1.0 - Map Redesigns - 22 November 2025
Over the last few weeks we have been monitoring the playtime of the different maps along with taking notes on player feedback as they were playing the game via streaming, we found the festival was without a doubt the most played map, the other maps rarely were played. We also found the supermarket was not having the correct impression on our players as the default map so this needed to be changed, we went back and designed the map from the ground up with the ethos of having a supermarket themed map rather than a map that is a supermarket! As for the patch notes for those of you who don't wanna read the reasons here you go! Map Changes: All maps now have a map wipe!! Supermarket now has an Acid rain and the restaurant has a Kitchen fire. Not really the most safe environments.... Trampolines have been added into the supermarket Restaurant now has a significantly reduced amount of clutter…
- Map Rework - 16 November 2025
We're currently in the middle of remodelling the Supermarket map.We remodelled it so much, we kinda broke the old map! Keep an eye out for the new update droppingCheck out how we broke the map here!
- Retail Therapy Patch V 1.0.6 - 14 November 2025
Bus gun!!!! The bus gun was under performing so we have made a few tweaks to create a more viable option Busses now reach full size 0.1 seconds after firing Bus gun now weighs less (for a bus you're lucky) so you can move alittle faster.. but not much... ITS A BUS!!!
- Retail Therapy Patch V 1.0.5 - 14 November 2025
We have been listening to feedback over the past few days and we have made some changes in line with what we had received, things in this patch include some weapon changes, map changes, enemy improvements and bug fixes. Map Changes: The supermarket ATM stack there was a section where the AI would no longer track the player and there was a funnel on one side. Funnel area in checkout now has object to stop player being a turtle, if you have time to lean you got time to clean so do not stop moving! ATM bounding box collision changed to block all, STOP HIDING WIMP Pee Tsunami on festival timer increased to 60 from 50 - Honestly why are you all so into it?? Weapon Changes: Our Melee weapons were not performing as intended within game play and they were not unique enough so we have made some balance changes along with the Phallus 9000 didn't feel enough like it was good late game so we gave i…

- Retail Therapy Patch V1.0.4 - 9 November 2025
We have had feedback on a few things within the game, especially from those who are early on in the game that the drop rates of the different weapons seem to not be working as intended as we had some weapons ammo are dropping when you do not own it, this was originally down to design however after receiving this feedback we have altered this function in line more with player expectations. We also know about a few map issues that were particularly not working with the AI behavior and this has now been rectified across all maps. Current Updates are as follows: Ammo Drops now only drop from enemies if you own that specific weapon Map Changes: Pee Tsunami cooldown increased from 20 seconds to 50 Map geometry edited to allow smoother AI path finding.
- Update V1.0.3 - Achievements - 7 November 2025
Achievements for Retail Therapy are now live! Your achievements while playing the game no longer just appear as posters on the wall within the HUB area, they are now on display for all to see!!! One of them you probably don't want people to see. Other Changes: Pee Tsunami now has audio cue for when it is no longer on cooldown Pee Tsunami now has audio cue for when it IS activated as we understand now that most people will use it while facing away from the wave.

- Splash Screen Fix - Retail Therapy V1.0.2 - 5 November 2025

- Enemy and Map Improvements - 5 November 2025
As the game just released we had some other minor issues we had missed being a few issues with some of the maps with enemies getting stuck as well as the flying enemies were rather frustrating to deal with as they were able to just sneak up behind you a lot of the time so here are the edits. Restaurant Map: Some tables removed entirely to provide space for players to move more freely Wooden side table on stairs moved slightly to stop enemies getting caught Supermarket Map: Blocking volumes added to a few shelves, ATM's and Payment isle Roof beam angles reduced to stop affecting nav-mesh allowing for enemies to follow the player better Extra route added on shelves to stop enemies being congested and getting stuck Trolley has been moved in the isle to allow a more linear isle Enemy Changes: Damage lowered slightly on bombs due to sometimes stacking causing a lot of damage Flying enemies n…
