Welcome, fellow Demonhosts.While we keep working on bigger updates and on Demonherd 2, we cooked this small patch for you.This update focuses on both bugfixes and a new light system for the game! Our next big addition to Demonherd Dungeon is planned for October, featuring new costumes. new scenes and hopefully even more bugfixes.New Features:Reworked the game's light system. Torches, lanterns and candles will now cast their light in the darkness of the labyrinth. Welcome, fellow Demonhosts. It’s been over a month since the launch of Demonherd Dungeon. We’ve taken this time to gather your feedback and put together the first of a long series of updates that will gradually fix various bugs and glitches while adding new content to the game — all completely free, of course.These patch notes are divided into 3 categories: New Features, Balancing, and Bugfixes. We’ll aim to release a new update every 2 months to keep the experience fresh for everyone. On second thought, I believe it’s more appropriate to make it even “hotter”… so these updates will always include new costumes and new scenes to enjoy in the dungeon! And here we are.We waited a few days before posting this because we were honestly blown away by the numbers. Demonherd 1 sold 3,000 copies in 6 months… this game hit that in less than a week. A huge part of it is thanks to the insane amount of wishlists we managed to get — we’re almost at 30,000 now! The first game barely had 2,000, so yeah… we’re pretty damn happy with how this turned out.Not everyone seems to be enjoying the game though. Right now the review score is lower than our first one. I’m not super surprised, to be honest. The early game in Dungeon is a lot more demanding than Demonherd 1, and maybe we didn’t do a great job explaining just how much more challenging it would be compared to the first game.My game design philosophy has always been the same since Demonherd 1: I don’t want to make a game that’s just hard.
