  We've been working on this update almost as long as we did the original Shawarma Wars. When the first version of the game was released, we already understood that many things could be done better.But instead of endlessly patching up individual mechanics, we decided to do it differently:rework almost the entire game. • Update 1.2 — Bots and Decorations! - 12 March 2026

  ChangesBots have been added to the game: now it’s no longer a problem if the lobby doesn’t fill up with real players, because bots will take their place instead! They’ll never replace a proper lobby of 4 friends, but they’ll do their best!At the moment, the bots are in beta: they’re still a little dumb, so I’d really appreciate any bug reports! We’ll definitely make them smarter!A lot of festival decorations have been added: dining tables, garlands, balloons, new lighting, tents, everything you’d expect!Minor bugs have been fixed.

  Changes:The lobby host now has game settings (starting money, day length, and number of game days).Interactable objects now get an outline when you hover over them.Added the ability to kick players from the lobby.When a player’s position in the Top (by money earned) changes, it’s now shown visually in the UI.Fixed UI bugs on 4:3 resolutions.Pricing system changed: price modifier for shawarma (as well as coffee and lemonade) now increase as you buy upgrades for the food truck.Bears added: occasionally, bears will come from the festival. Of course, you’ll need to feed them too — otherwise they’ll get angry.And a whole lot more has been added and improved that I can’t remember right now — just play, YO!
