• Game Development Paused - 10 July 2026

  It's been a year since I've been working alone every single day on FACTO. This project was way too ambitious for the amount of time I had given myself. I put way too much pressure on myself. Since I'm already someone who stresses a lot, that definitely didn't help, and in March I ended up burning out and losing faith in the project.I kept working on it for several more months afterward. It was actually during that time that I regained confidence in FACTO, and the game made a lot of progress. Unfortunately, that confidence didn't last. A little while before Steam Next Fest started, I lost confidence again. I could barely work on the project anymore. At most, I was spending around 10 minutes a day on it, and since Steam Next Fest ended, I literally haven't been able to work on the project at all whenever I open the engine.
