• Open Beta - 27 July 2026

  Hey everyone!It's been a while since the last post, but I've made huge progress in the meantime!There have been lots of gameplay improvements, new tools, an upgraded atelier, and much more. At this point, the main things left are polishing the game and improving the UI.Before launching the demo, I want to run one final playtest. I'll be on vacation soon, but you can expect the open beta in August!I'm planning to run it for just one weekend, so be sure to follow and wishlist the game so you don't miss the date.See ya in August!

  Hey everyone! About a week ago, I opened the playtest to the first group of people who applied for access. The amount of feedback I received was incredible, and I’m really grateful to everyone who played the game and took the time to share their thoughts.Since then, I’ve been hard at work improving the game based on that feedback and fixing a ton of bugs. If you’re interested, you’ll find a full list of changes below.If you didn’t get access to the playtest the first time, don’t worry! I’m currently working on some great multiplayer features, as well as quality-of-life improvements and additions.   It’s finally time… the first rough demo of Picasho is almost playable. To celebrate, I’ll be opening the first playtest very soon to gather early feedback and fix important issues.If you want to be among the first people to try the game in its early stages, this is your chance.Request access to the playtest at the top of the page, and you’ll get a notification when it goes live!One small piece of bad news: the multiplayer still needs a bit more polish and won’t be part of this playtest yet. • Gameplay Update & First Demo Coming Soon - 18 February 2026

  First of all, I want to thank everyone for the support and interest in the game. I am developing this project on my own, so this truly means a lot to me!Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working extremely hard to get all the essential systems up and running. Along the way, I had to adjust some aspects of the originally planned gameplay, such as selling artworks in your shop. It wasn’t really satisfying to invest time and effort into creating a painting, only for it to be bought by an NPC and then disappear from the game. Now, the gameplay is much more focused on giving you the freedom to take as much time as you like to complete an artwork and display it in your very own art gallery. But you won’t have to come up with all the ideas yourself.
