  If you grew up during the 16-bit golden era, you probably remember the raw joy of playing classic Sega Genesis platformers like Quackshot, Castle of Illusion, World of Illusion, Aladdin, and Sonic. I spent my childhood obsessed with their unforgettable worlds.When I set out to build Pizza of the Gods, I wanted something I would love to play and also pay tribute to those 90s memories, but with a completely fresh mechanical identity. Instead of choosing standard digital pixel art, we hand-drew all the characters and environments on actual paper using markers and acrylics before animating them.Additionally, we have added a mechanism that lets you control two distinct characters, swapping between them during gameplay to make your way through Mount Olympus.
