ETA: Unknown is a cockpit-driven psychological horror game that plunges you into the frozen desolation of Antarctica. When contact with multiple research sites suddenly vanishes without obvious cause, you're sent in alone to investigate. Piloting a utility rover across a barren, snow-lashed wasteland, you must contend with brutal cold, failing machinery, and a growing sense that something unseen is watching. Your only tools are the crude systems in your vehicle and your own determination to uncover the truth: and make it out in one piece. Features Tactile Controls Flip switches, push buttons, and operate your rover with precise, hands-on mouse controls and diegetic interfaces. Survival and Exploration Navigate hostile, snow covered dunes as you struggle to manage component health, fuel, and harsh weather. Investigate the nature of operations of the research colony, but be mindful: some things buried in the ice were never meant to be found. Maintenance One wrong move can cause systems to degrade or fail, stranding you in the cold with no help coming. Atmosphere Cinematic lighting, music and UI inspired by early personal computing create an atmosphere rooted in horror movies of the 80s.
