You play as an inmate exiled to Veridion Prime , forced by UNC into a deadly survival experiment. Your only path to freedom is to stay alive long enough to rise above the system. OUTLANDERS BACKSTORY You are an inmate. Branded expendable and shipped across the stars aboard a massive prison transport, your destination is Veridion Prime, a hostile frontier world rich in Pentoxyd crystals. Pentoxyd is the backbone of interstellar civilization. These volatile crystals power faster than light travel, deep space reactors, and advanced military tech. Entire empires rise and fall on Pentoxyd supply, and Veridion Prime is one of the last untapped sources left. Mining it is dangerous, deadly, and cheap only if the workers are prisoners. Before arrival, disaster strikes. A massive explosion tears through the inmate transport ship. Alarms scream. Hulls rupture.
