• Update 0.127 adds an experimental translator for 14 new languages - 31 July 2023

  The 0.127 update is here and it introduces an experimental translator that will automatically translate the game into up to 14 new languages. Here are the ones supported so far: Spanish Portuguese Russian Chinese (Simplified) Japanese German French Polish Turkish Korean Thai Italian Ukrainian Norwegian I suspect the translations will be far from perfect but it should be infinitely better than nothing for those players who can't read English well. For any bilingual players out there, let me know how far from perfect the translations actually are. If they turn out good I might be able to mark the game as officially supporting those languages on Steam which would really help our foreign monolingual friends find the game. • Update 0.126 with another new mod: Periodic Mod! - 26 May 2023

  The 0.126 update is here and it introduces a new mod type: Periodic! The Periodic mod periodically buffs the next effect in the stack. If you have it before an explosion mod for example, your explosives will be really strong, then normal a few seconds later, then really strong again. This lets you make guns that reward you for timing your shots or doing all your damage in bursts, but it comes at the cost of a less consistent gun. The Periodic mod is also available in the free demo so anyone who wants to try it out can do so right now! Complete list of changes included in 0.126: Added a new mod effect: Periodic. It periodically improves the next effect that comes after it. For example, if it comes before a speed mod you'll get temporary bursts of speed. • Update 0.125 with new mod: Spinup! - 28 April 2023

  The 0.125 update is here and it introduces a new mod type: Spinup! The Spinup mod spins up faster the longer you fire, and the faster it spins the more it buffs the next mod. So Spinup + Explosion will make a gun that shoots bigger and bigger bombs the longer you hold the trigger. Spinup + Damage will increase damage the longer you hold the trigger, etc. I'm interested to see the guns you guys come up with using this mod. I played around with it a bit and made some cool weapons but I'm sure I only scratched the surface of what's possible. • The Stack Gun Heroes Beta has been released to testers. - 8 October 2021

  Lots of exciting news today! First and foremost, the Beta is now accessible to testers. This includes some MAJOR graphics improvements as well as thousands of minor bugfixes and optimizations. Some highlights include: Architecture, robots, and weapon effects look much better. Re-added barriers to maps. Barriers can now spawn in more configurations. Superbullet mods have usable stats and clamp sizes now. You can now destroy barriers with high damage weapons and explosives. Some difficult maps will have obstacles you must navigate around (or blast through!). Enemies spawn with more interesting weapons. Literally thousands of small improvements, optimizations, and bugfixes. I also did the first round of drawings for the Beta. • New trailer - 12 July 2018

  Hey guys! I just posted a new trailer for Stack Gun Heroes. It's really similar to the Greenlight one, just with upgraded graphics and mechanics that I have added since then. Progress on the game itself is going well. I think most of it is close to finished, with just a little bit of testing and finishing touches left.
