Short description
Room Rules is an experimental simulator focused on the study of anomalous rooms. Follow the protocols, complete test sessions, and analyze the behavior of anomalous “Rooms.”
About this game
An atmospheric first-person research experience where you act as an Operator undergoing procedural trials within an unstable anomalous space known as the Room . Each session is a controlled experiment. Each action is part of a protocol. Failure does not end the trial — it returns you to the beginning. Core Gameplay Loop You begin each session inside a research hub. Here you: review instructions on a tablet, interact with control terminals, monitor best completion times. Once the procedure is activated, access to the object is granted. The Trial Upon entering the house, the timer starts. Inside is the Room — the primary anomalous testing zone. Screens display an object that must be located . Your actions depend on the situation: if the object is absent , you must exit the Room through the left door; if the object is present , it must be correctly placed before exiting through the right door; if time expires, side exits are blocked and only the central corridor remains accessible. Rules and Consequences A correct decision reduces the remaining level counter An incorrect decision resets progress to the starting value The objective is to complete all levels without violating the procedure Once the counter reaches its final value, you may exit the house. The timer stops. Return and Analysis After returning to the hub, you can: review your final completion time, compare it against previous attempts, immediately restart the trial cycle. The experience encourages repetition, optimization, and strict adherence to procedure. Key Features Procedural, rule-based gameplay Observation and decision-focused challenges Timer-based trials with best-time tracking Minimalist laboratory-inspired visual style Psychological tension without jumpscares Short sessions designed for replayability The Experience This is not a traditional horror game or a classic puzzle experience. It is a simulation of working with an object that cannot be fully understood. You are not exploring the Room. You are executing a procedure.
