  Welcome commanders! This huge update is even bigger than these patch notes; so many structural, balance, and QOL changes happened that it was hard to keep track! That being said, I can give a few highlights from this patch:HighlightsEnemy bosses are now much more difficult, as they have relics of their own!All dice now have more variety to help you distinguish who is who on the battlefield.Almost every die has received a balance pass to ensure each die has a moment to shine! • Dialogue Update! - 16 April 2026

  Another update has come for Tome of Talis! Admittedly, this one is a bit more "raw" in terms of the new content, but I didn't want to wait any longer since it fixed a lot of bugs people were having.For those with early access to the full game, the final boss Commander Talis is now reachable! The ending and such isn't ready yet though. Additionally, once you have beaten him, you can enjoy 3 new ascension levels for added challenge.ImprovementsEnemies now talk before battles! This feature is very beta, and better art will follow soon.Quick Attack has been removed from the game, as it was very confusing to new players. In its place is True Strike, which is a melee attack that bypasses defense, dodges, and spectral. • New Content and Bugfixes! - 27 February 2026

  Improved QOLA new indicator displays when a die is being targeted by another die! This should make scanning the battlefield for threats easier. Additionally, if you hover over the targeting display, you can see who is planning to attack them!New Buffs and Debuffs- New debuff, Weak: Dice affected by this deal half damage. Disappears at a rate of one per round.- New buff: Protected. If a die would die, instead its survives at one hp.- New debuff, Burn: Burn deals its stacks worth of damage at the start of dice resolution, and then removes itself.
