- Thank You for the Warm Welcome! - 17 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! It has only been a few hours since the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launched, but we already want to take a moment to say one thing - thank you! Honestly, even in our wildest dreams, we couldn't have imagined such a huge amount of interest in our game. We're incredibly happy to see so many of you already hitting the streets of Winston Springs and starting your careers in the police force. At the same time, we want to say a huge thank you for all the feedback you've been sharing with us. We're reading your reviews, comments, and reports very carefully and continuously gathering information about the things that need improvement. We're not slowing down either - we're already working on the next patches to improve your experience with the game. You can also expect another update tomorrow morning. If you haven't had a chance to leave a review yet, we want to remind…
- Full Version of Police Chief Simulator OUT NOW! - 17 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! The moment is finally here - the full version of Police Chief Simulator is NOW AVAILABLE! After months of development, testing, improvements, conversations with you, and dozens of devlogs, we can finally say it officially - Winston Springs is open! Today is a truly important moment for us. As a team, we want to thank everyone who stayed with us until this day - everyone who played the Prologue, tested the Demo, shared feedback, reported bugs, suggested ideas, and simply waited alongside us for this moment. But the release is only the beginning of our journey. Your opinions and feedback matter a lot to us, and we want to continue developing Police Chief Simulator together with our community. Your ideas and experiences will be incredibly valuable as we move forward. And don't forget about our shared world! If you own Car Dealer Simulator in your Steam library, your office p…
- FULL VERSION: Summary! - 17 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! It's finally here! The full version of Police Chief Simulator is launching today at 17:00 CEST on Steam! To celebrate the release, we've prepared a short summary of what you can expect to find in the full version. From managing the police station, officers, and prisoners, through basic foot and traffic stops, all the way to situations where an ordinary patrol can turn into a chase after a much more dangerous criminal. The full version takes you to Winston Springs, a city full of residents, offences, criminals, and situations that don't always go according to plan. You'll issue tickets, conduct inspections, investigate cases, apprehend suspects, manage your staff, and deal with prisoners. All of this takes place in a world that can surprise you even during what seems like an ordinary patrol. But the release is not the end of our journey. Quite the opposite - our list of id…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Dynamic Infractions! - 16 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! We're finally down to the very last day - only 1 day left until release! In our recent devlogs, we've talked about tickets, and today we're going back to the subject to show you just how much can happen around even the smallest offences. In Police Chief Simulator, our offence system generates incidents randomly, meaning you never quite know what you might encounter during your next patrol. It's your job to notice the offence and issue the appropriate ticket to the person responsible. Some pedestrians ignore the rules. Drivers do too. Sometimes it will be something as simple as crossing on a red light, while other times it might be a minor collision or another incident on the streets. But remember - every seemingly minor stop can turn into something much bigger. In the material above, you can see a woman crossing on a red light and receiving a ticket for it. It looks like…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Tools and Interaction Menus! - 15 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! Only 2 days left until the full version release! Today, we want to show you two interface elements that you will be using very often during gameplay - the Tools Menu and the Interaction Menu. The first one is the Tools Menu - a traditional Radial Menu, but fully customizable! Anything you pick up during the game can be added to your menu. And if you don't need something at the moment, you can simply put it away in a safe place. This allows you to choose a set of tools tailored to the task at hand. The second Radial Menu is the Interaction Menu. This one will help you when dealing with the residents of Winston Springs, as well as during searches and personal inspections of criminals. Using this menu, you will be able to perform a variety of actions - from checking an ID and issuing a ticket, all the way to searching and arresting someone. Everything depends on the situatio…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Car Chases - 14 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! Only 3 days left until the full version release! In our recent devlogs, we talked about the speed camera and the charger that keeps it ready for action. So the next natural question is - what about drivers who are speeding? This is something we have been working on for quite some time, and we really can't wait for you to try it yourselves. You will also encounter criminals on the streets of Winston Springs who have no intention of respecting the speed limit. Some of them will give up as soon as they see you and hear the sound of your sirens. But of course, not everyone will be so willing to cooperate. Some will try to escape, thinking they can easily lose the police car chasing them. A chase, a spin-out of the fleeing vehicle, followed by a stop and a personal search - sometimes a routine traffic stop can turn into something much more exciting. And who knows... maybe they…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Speed Camera Charging - 13 September 2026
Howdy, Chiefs! Only 4 days left until the release! In our previous devlogs, we showed you one of the speed cameras available in the game. Today, it's time to answer the question that naturally comes next - what happens when the speed camera runs out of power? If you want to check out the previous devlog again, you can find it here: As you know, electrical devices need energy to operate. Our speed camera is no exception. When its battery runs out, you will be able to purchase a Charger from one of the local stores, place it at the police station, and start charging your equipment. But placing the charger is only part of the process. The device becomes connected to the police station's power grid, increasing its energy consumption and therefore raising your electricity bill. Another thing to keep in mind while managing your station! In the full version, you won't just use your equipment -…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: One World, Shared Progress - 12 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 5 days left until the full version release! This time, we have something special for you - another step in the development of the Winston Springs shared universe and the result of something we have been working on for a long time. If you own Car Dealer Simulator in your Steam library and have played it, then after purchasing Police Chief Simulator, you will see the progress of your workshop reflected in our game. You won't be starting completely from scratch - your progress can follow you into another part of Winston Springs! But that's only half of the story. The system works both ways! Buildings and their upgrade levels will represent your physical progress in each game. Upgrade a location in one game, and the other game can reflect that progress as well. In the first graphic, you can see the Car Dealer Simulator workshop from the perspective of Police Chief Simulator…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Environmental Destruction - 11 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 6 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Last time, we showed you what can happen to your vehicle when things don't go exactly according to plan during a chase or an everyday shift. If you'd like to revisit that devlog, you can find it here: Today, we're taking things one step further. Because if vehicles can get damaged… it turns out that the environment isn't always indestructible either. Winston Springs is filled with plenty of smaller objects that can get in your way. Trash cans, bollards, and other environmental elements can be destroyed if you hit them hard enough. Sometimes it's an accident, and sometimes you simply need to find another way through. But that's not all. In the Full Version, Winston Springs opens up a little more for you. Fences, barriers, and other types of fencing are no longer always the absolute boundaries they m…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: The Bus Station - 10 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 7 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today, we're taking you to the place where our hero's story begins - the local bus station in Winston Springs. This is where our main character first arrives in the city, beginning his new adventure as the Police Chief. But the bus station isn't just the place where the story of Police Chief Simulator begins. It's also another important location in our shared universe. In the first screenshot, you can see the main character from Police Chief Simulator together with Joe Donovan - a retired bus driver whom you'll get to know better in the upcoming Bus Station Simulator. Joe knows the station like the back of his hand. After years behind the wheel, he got to know not only the bus routes, but also Winston Springs and its residents. Now, as a retired bus driver, he's one of the characters who will help…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Briefing Room - Dispatching Officers - 8 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 9 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! It's been a while since we've taken a look inside one of the most important rooms at our police station - the Briefing Room. So it's finally time to come back here and reveal what will actually be happening inside! If you'd like to refresh your memory and see our first look at this room, check out our previous devlog: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2938460/view/717906309283840753 This is where cases prepared earlier in the Detective Room arrive. From the Briefing Board, you can select the case you want to work on and then decide which officers will be assigned to it and what equipment they will take with them. Once the team is properly prepared, all that's left is to brief the officers and send them out into the field. From that moment on, they take over the case and head into the city - w…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Prisoner Management - 6 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 11 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today, we're taking a closer look at another important part of running your police station - the holding cells. More specifically, what happens to criminals after they are caught on the streets of Winston Springs. Criminals arrested by you or your officers are first brought to the Holding Cells at the police station. This is where the registration process begins. Their paperwork is prepared, their photo is taken, and a proper criminal record is created for them. Only after the registration process has been completed can they be prepared for further transport. Paperwork may not be the most exciting part of police work, but it has to be done - even the most wanted criminal needs a file. Once all the documentation is ready, it's time for the next step. The prisoners are taken out of their cells and e…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: Good and Evil - Catching Criminals - 5 September 2026
Hey Chiefs! Only 12 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! This time, we're heading back into our shared Winston Springs universe to talk about something that's simply unavoidable in the life of a Police Chief - chasing and catching criminals. In Winston Springs, you never really know what might happen next. Even during a completely ordinary conversation with a citizen, something could be happening right behind your back. In the first scene, we see the Police Chief talking to one of the locals. Everything looks perfectly normal… but take a closer look. There's a criminal lurking in the background. That's why you always need to keep your eyes open in Winston Springs. You never know who's watching the situation and waiting for the right moment to make a move. Once the criminal reveals himself, it's time to act! In the next GIF, we show a short chase that en…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Power Up - 4 September 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 13 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're heading a little lower than usual - straight down to the station basement. That's where you'll find an important part of the station's infrastructure, one that's easy to overlook during expansion… until the lights go out. As the station grows, so does its demand for electricity. At the heart of the system is the Transformer, responsible for maintaining the amount of electricity available to your station. The bigger and more developed your station becomes, the more important it will be to keep the transformer upgraded. That's why expanding too quickly without taking care of your infrastructure can have consequences. If your station's demand exceeds the transformer's capabilities, you may find yourself dealing with a power outage. And running a police station without electricity isn't…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: Restocking Supplies - Deliveries - 3 September 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 14 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're taking another look at our shared Winston Springs universe and introducing someone who can become extremely useful when running your police station - our delivery driver. Not everything you need at the station has to be picked up personally. If you run out of essential supplies, simply grab your phone, dial the right number and place an order. The rest is taken care of by the delivery driver, who will bring your supplies straight to the station. Of course, you can always head to a store yourself and pick up what you need. But what happens when you're in the middle of another case, your patrol is waiting, and the shop is about to close? That's when having your supplies delivered can become a very convenient option. Order placed? Then all that's left is to wait. The delivery driver wi…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Basic Patrol Equipment - 1 September 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 16 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're taking a look inside the trunk of our patrol car and checking out the basic equipment every officer should have at hand while working the streets of Winston Springs. First up is the handheld speed camera - a handy tool that allows you to catch drivers exceeding the speed limit and issue them an appropriate ticket. Choosing the perfect spot for your speed checks will be up to your experience and police instincts. Next to it, you'll find your ticket book, ready for all kinds of violations, as well as your firearm - because even the quietest patrol can sometimes take a very unexpected turn. And of course, all of this needs to be transported somehow. Luckily, every officer has a trusty companion - the patrol car, ready to take you through the streets of Winston Springs and wherever a po…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: Special Vehicles – Prison Transport - 29 August 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 19 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're taking another look at our shared Winston Springs universe and presenting one of several special vehicles you'll encounter in the game - the prison transport van. Prisoners are transported by the already familiar Benjamin Biggs and his assistant, Marco Wedge. Whenever the situation calls for it, they'll hit the road in the prison van to safely transport inmates to their destination. Benjamin and Marco take their duties very seriously... at least when someone's watching. After hours, apparently there's room for a little more fun. Marco found a comfortable spot next to the van, while Benjamin seems to be conducting a very serious inspection of... an invisible gun. Spirits are high, and the prison van looks ready for another trip. This is just one of several special vehicles that will…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Speed Camera & Speed Checks! - 28 August 2026
Hello, Chiefs! The Full Version of Police Chief Simulator is getting very close! Today we're showing you another tool that will be available in the Full Version - the speed camera. The speed camera will allow you to monitor drivers' speeds and deal with those who are a little too enthusiastic with the accelerator. Drivers caught speeding can expect a ticket, while you get to choose the perfect spot for your little hunt for lead-footed drivers. You can take the device with you wherever you want, so sooner or later you'll probably find your favorite spots for carrying out speed checks. Some locations might prove much more interesting than others... You can also get a preview of the speed camera interface, which we're currently finishing up. We want the device to be simple and clear to use, while still providing all the information you need to perform a proper speed check. Finally, here's…
- WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: Traffic Stops & Tickets - 27 August 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 21 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're heading back into the streets of our shared Winston Springs universe to revisit another familiar part of police work - traffic stops and issuing tickets. Some of you have already experienced this mechanic in the Demo. Parking in front of a fire hydrant or staying beyond the time paid for at a parking meter are just some of the situations you'll encounter while patrolling the streets of Winston Springs. But take a closer look at the ticket book and you might spot a few additional violations. We'll have more to say about those in future devlogs... Traffic stops are another way to experience Winston Springs from a different perspective. This time, you're the one standing on the side of the road - and it's up to you whether a driver gets back on their way or leaves with a little souveni…
- SOON IN FULL VERSION: Officer Management - 25 August 2026
Hello, Chiefs! Only 23 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're taking another look at the worker system and reminding you how hiring and managing your officers will work at the Police Station. The first step is finding the right candidates. Using the HiredIn app, you can browse available officers and decide who joins your team. Look closely and you might also notice a few new faces - we're working on additional officer models that will soon be joining the ranks of the Police Station. Once you've hired them, it's time to organize their work. Using the Management Board in the Locker Room, you can assign officers to specific rooms and watch them carry out their duties - from the Reception Desk to the Detective Room. But this is only a reminder of the basics. The worker system still has a few tricks up its sleeve, and in upcoming devlogs we'll reve…
