• Dev Update - FMV Cinematics & Music! - 21 September 2026

  Hello! For those wanting quick updates can read the 4 bullet points below. The later section is a little behind the scenes postmortem, because who doesn't love a little game development chaos.UPDATES:FMVs filmed in Vancouver and Salt Lake City, 8 riders total, classic sports bikes ranging from late 80s to early 2000s (mid 90s bikes seemed super rare in Canada & America!). Mostly rolling shots and little skits. No budget/capacity for background actors. Roughly 11 hours total of film time which isn't massive, but should be enough to assemble some pre-race and skit FMVs for the game. • Dev Update - Split-Screen VS, Performance and more! - 24 June 2026

  It's been a while since my last update! The very first in-person exhibition kicked off a few weeks ago giving the public a first chance to play the game and lots of good came of it.Split-screen VS: During my exhibition of Bash Moto many players expressed a desire for multi-player. I'm happy to announce local split-screen will be featured. It's still in development, but I have a majority of it working and I will post some videos on my social media in the coming week or so. For those wondering about online, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have no networking experience so a traditional online mode won't happen. The good news, Steam permits you to share a local play session with a Friend, meaning it should be possible to play an split-screen online through Steam. • Dev Update - Biker Cast! - 22 March 2026

  Introducing some of the playable bikers! Each with different slight attributes such as starting weapons/bikes, punch/kick strengths, starting cash in their pocket and daze resistance. Inside races you'll build bonds or break friendships.   Caricature art is on the way! When we hear the word stylized within the indie scene we often think about Ghilbi, pixelated or a hand drawn look. Rarely do we see a grotesque, exaggerated, and darkly cartoonish style... and I'm here to embrace it!I've hired a very talented freelance caricature artist by the name of Luis Rojas to help me with these hand painted Bash Moto end screens. Artwork depicting riders getting busted, wrecking their bike, losing a race, winning and rider portraits.   Color tinting your helmet independently of the body is now an optionImproved texture sharpness on rider and bike sprite. I found better mipmap settings for my layout. • Development Update - Bike Shop - 16 January 2026

  Bike shop screenshot has been added! It's here where the player will purchase their junk bikes, sports bikes and super bikes. • Development Update - Bar Menus - 4 January 2026

  Some may have noticed some new screenshots on the store page. I've added two images of the bar menu, created from a mix of 3D geometry and 2D cards to recapture a vintage Road Rash vibe. Still to come are the silly/gross looking caricatures that will sweet talk, give tips or want to rip your face off.
