This continuation of the story was conceptualized alongside the story of LoaPR, and always intended to be made afterwards. Being a sequel, you should only play Valiant Rose after finishing Platinum Rose.There will be a free demo of the game, hopefully released during the summer, which will be about 1/4th of the game.   For my birthday, Laments of a Platinum Rose is on sale for a week! Buy one for you, your loved ones, and your pets. I bought a copy for my coworker's pet iguana, and now its pronouns has a "they" in there somewhere. But seriously, thank you all so much for the positive reception I've gotten from LoaPR. It has been amazing reading feedback from people and hearing how much this game has meant to some people. I know it means a lot to me. Sale runs from Feb 24 and ends Mar 3. • 1.1 Update Released! Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, and more! - 7 January 2026

  Laments of a Platinum Rose V1.1 Released!Mac and Linux/SteamOS Support added.Controller/Gamepad support has been expanded.Steam Cloud now works with LoaPR.All of these were added so that LoaPR can be enjoyed on the Steam Deck!A few menus have been prettied up and tweaked, especially to make controllers easier to use.Various other bugfixes and tweaks.Sorry these weren't out on Day 1. I wanted to make absolutely sure the Day 1 build was stable, so I had more time to test everything. This ended up being the right move, but still it feels weird fixing these issues post-launch at all. Thank you for your support.
