- Haven Restored v1.1.4 Update - 30 August 2026
Hi there, A quick update on this patch - a bug was found on Level 9 where the number of dirty walls in Bathroom One was shown incorrectly. I have updated with correct number now. Thanks. Regards, JH Lee
- Haven Restored v1.1.3 Update - 22 August 2026
Hi again, A quick update on this - A bug was reported that the Taco at the kitchen sink of Level 7 will fall through the sink and stuck inside the cabinet, become unreachable and cannot be collected. I have now moved this problematic taco further away from the sink so when the Physics simulation starts, it has sometime to fall before colliding with the sink, this ensure the sink's physics is fully awake and the collision is accurate. Please "Reset" all rubbish if you have loaded from a saved game and the taco is stuck inside the kitchen sink, as this is the saved position of the taco, so you need to reset that to bring the taco back to its starting position, which is above the sink. That's all for this update, thanks again for the person who took the effort and time to report this bug. Regards, JH Lee
- Haven Restored v1.1.2 Update - 21 August 2026
Hi everyone,I got a notification from Google Form (Yay! Instant notification this time!) that a bug was submitted so I went ahead to catch the little bug.It is another 'progress blocking' bug that causes the most inconvenience, so apologize for that. The wall behind the bookcases can't be cleaned past 99.87% to meet the "cleaned threshold" of 99.90%, eventhough everything has been cleaned. This could be due to some limitation in calculation. So I have reduced the "Cleaned Threshold" from 99.90% to 99.75% now. Image below shows where the current issue is:That's all for today, thanks!Regards,JH Lee
- Haven Restored v1.1.1 Update - 11 August 2026
Hi everyone, There was a bug in Level 6 whereby the 3 shelves cannot be cleaned, and hence you will get stuck in this level forever. Someone has submitted a bug report to me on 28 July, via multiple forms but I did not notifce, until just now when I read the bad review then I realize the issue. It was my negligence on not checking the bug submission, apologize for that as I was busy working on a new project. Anyway, I have now turned on notification on all Google Forms so I will get instant notification when someone report an issue again in the future. That is the main thing that get updated in this new verion (v1.1.1). Oncec again, sorry for the trouble. Regards, JH Lee
- Haven Restored Update v1.1.0 - 22 July 2026
Dear Supporters,It's been about a month since the release of Haven Restored. I have listened to all the feedback and have been working hard on improving the game in the past few weeks. Main thing I wanted to solve is the performance issue, whereby during cleaning, the game will consistently suffer a slight drop in FPS. This is caused by the game constantly checking for number of pixels that have been cleaned, and reading pixels is a very resource demanding task. So to solve this, I tried a few methods to count the cleaned pixels... Finally it has get to a point where it has no impact on performance anymore! On top of this, I have heard the controls to move an object is clunky and difficult to understand. So in this new update, I have simplified the system and also provided "ground line" to indicate where the item will land if placed. I personally quite like this new method, and I hope y…
- Haven Restored v1.0.3 Update - Disappearing TV Console in Chapter 5 - 30 June 2026
Dear Supporters,So in this latest update, I have found an interesting bug, thanks for a supporter who reported the bug in the discussion page. I guess as a player, not all of you would be keen to find out what is causing that. But, since this is an interesting one so I thought I would just share it here, who knows, it could help fellow developers in the future. To be honest I never expect this could cause an issue... So the bug was that the TV Console in Chapter 5 (Left Unsaid) disappeared instantly when you try to move it. After investigation, I found that the TV actually moved to underneath the ground, not disappeared. As you can see from the GIF below - the red line is a trace to detect the ground. It turns out that the line trace failed to detect the ground so the TV console is moved to below the floor.I went to check on what is causing the ground trace to fail, then I notice the loc…
- Haven Restored v1.0.2 Update - Steam Deck Support - 28 June 2026
Dear Supporters, I have noticed that some players who use Steam Deck might have severe performance issue with the current version, so I have patched a new version which detects the Steam Deck hardware and then prompt for recommended setting changes (particularly, disabling Unreal Engine's Lumen technology and set the screen resolution to 1280x800). On top of this, I also added more graphical settings (i.e. shadow quality, shader quality, etc) for you to adjust accordingly. Hope this would allow you to be in-control of all the settings so you will be able to enjoy the game more smoothly. Thanks again for those who leave a review, I really appreciate them eventhough they are negative reviews. I don't mind about that and I hope to hear more from you all so I can make the game better and better. Regards, JH Lee
- Haven Restored Update v1.0.1 - 26 June 2026
Dear Supporters, Thank you for the valuable feedbacks posted on the reviews. I have noticed them and taken actions to work on the improvements, while not all can be done in short time, I have worked on the more critical ones which are related to the saving issues. Here is the summary of changes on this update: Update v1.0.1: BUG: Solved a bug where furnitures moved are not saved. The problem is due to the furniture being reset back to their default position when a saved game is loaded. Now, this has been solved and the furniture will stay in the last saved position. Level Completed Summary Screen: The "Quit" button has been removed as it is confusing. If you want to quit after completed a level, simply click on "Continue" to proceed to the next level, then save from there. Pause Screen: Added a "Main Menu" button to allow you return to the main menu instead of quitting. Pause Screen: Bo…

- Haven Restored (Demo) Update v1.1.0 - 30 March 2026
Hello everyone,A lot had happened in the past (almost) one month - I had received a lot of feedbacks on the first version of the demo, and worked on ALL of them; at the same time while my family are moving to a smaller place where all 4 of us had to squeeze in a small bedroom. So we spent a lot of time selling or giving away stuffs, moved some stuffs to a temporary storage, and also cleaning and adjusting the furnitures in our tiny room. All these activities seems really related to Haven Restored, this game that I am building at the moment - lots of cleaning, moving furnitures... except the fact that I can't really use the pressure washer on the internal walls of our room, haha!Anyway, I am glad that we had settled down and I am back to full action on Haven Restored. So here is the updated list of changes to this brand new demo version 1.1. I hope you like these updates! I am eager to h…
- Haven Restored (Demo) Update v1.0.6 - 2 March 2026
Hello everyone,So I was not aware that the dirt's visibility has such a big difference in the developer build VS shipping build, the one you see VS the one I see.... Unreal Engine optimized a lot in the shipping build and hence the dirt textures had became blur due to downsized to lower quality issue. My bad that didn't tell Unreal Engine NOT to optimize the dirt texture as it is one of the most important feature of the game.It took a while to get it done, but I finally managed to make the dirt texture to appear as where it should be. Here is the comparison:Before (Dirt textures resolution has been reduced due to optimization):Now (where it is supposed to be):This new version (v1.0.6) mainly tackle this issue. I understand there are many feedbacks on-going (please keep them coming), and rest assure that I read all of them, and take note on all of them as well. It may not happen immediat…
