It is a newly trained Spanish (LatAm) voice model, and we would like your take on it before we commit to anything. Spanish is first in the queue, not the last. This update ships a significant overhaul to how the game remembers your journey, courtesy of Michał, our backend lead and one of our two main devs, who dug through the code and tracked down a major bug that had been quietly causing memory to slip.NEW: Collectible CardsEvery picture you discover on your journey is now a collectible card, and you build your collection in the story library. Cards come in four rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and holographic Special, each in a hand-drawn Norse frame. So today we want to share one of the adventures you will find in the full version of OMEA: The Last Vigil.It is our take on a classic fantasy adventure, dark fantasy to be exact, with a proper investigation running through it. You take on the role of one of six characters (rouge, warrior, wizard, cleric, bard or monk), and each of them has a different reason for accepting the job. - OMEA Demo Update - Volume Sliders and Controller Fixes - 6 August 2026
Hello everyone! Odin's Trial, the free OMEA demo, just got another update. This one focuses on sound and controllers. Here's what changed. SoundMusic and sound effects now have their own volume sliders, and "Mute all" moved to the Audio tab to sit next to them. Sound effects also obey the effects slider now; menu clicks and pickups used to ignore it. And settings sliders no longer play at full volume while you drag them. ControllerL3 / R3 now open Info and Story Points on the dice screen too.Rumble fires only when you're playing on the pad - a connected controller no longer buzzes while you use mouse and keyboard.The right stick works again after you close the on-screen keyboard.The cursor stays inside the settings window during character creation.On Windows, a freshly installed game picks up an Xbox controller straight away. Hi everyone!Odin's Trial, the free OMEA demo, just got a big update. The voice engine is new, the story keeps better track of the world, turns are faster, and the demo now runs on Steam Deck and Mac. If you play with a controller, a few things got easier:L1 / R1 browse the Adventure Library.L3 / R3 open Info and Story Points.The right stick scrolls through long answers.The cursor now stays inside the Settings window.New voicesWe rebuilt the voice engine from scratch. Lines no longer overlap or come out garbled: when someone speaks, you hear one clean voice from the first word to the last.
