Short description
A clumsy vampire cast out into the sunlight. A sun fairy who thinks he's worth saving. Sneak through sunlit villages, bend shadows, and find out if the sun fairy is right about him.
About this game
Vampy is cast out of vampire society for being too small. In the Vampire Court, weakness is unacceptable. Then Solea finds him. A sun fairy with no business befriending a vampire, Solea believes Vampy might be the Ashborn: a figure of prophecy destined to either end sunlight forever or be the means of its salvation. She chooses to believe that Vampy can become good. Together, they sneak through sunlit villages full of goofy villagers, dark mysterious forests and caves, and ultimately return to the Vampire Court where Vampy must confront his destiny. Along the way, Vampy must decide whether to give in to his vampiric instincts or to lend a helping hand to the characters they find along the way. THE SUN IS THE ENEMY Manipulate shadows to explore a world built entirely against you. Use Solea's power to move the sun and stay in the darkness. YOUR CHOICES MATTER Spare villagers, help them, or devour them. The choice is yours, but the world notices in small ways: how NPCs react, what Solea says, and who Vampy is becoming. SHORT, WEIRD, AND HAND-DRAWN Lovingly created in a goofy MS Paint aesthetic, Vampy's Big Day is a small, colorful adventure about an unlikely friendship and a prophecy they may not fully understand.
