• Sept 17 Update: 90hz & full-rez default with compositor layer support! - 17 September 2026

  Hi all! As we gear up for you to receive your Steam Frames, we've been hard at work making bugfix and performance improvements to the game so it runs great on your device at launch. We have increased the default frame-rate to 90fps to match the OS default, and we have bumped up the default render resolution of the game to 2160x2160 per eye, to match the underlying hardware display render resolution of Steam Frame! We have also added initial support for compositor layers, so now the rulebooks, onboarding videos, held cards, and laser pointer focused cards should all render much more crisply. Getting text legibility right in VR remains a large technical undertaking, and we'll continue making refinements to our rendering approach over the coming weeks and months to get the most out of what the hardware is capable of! • Patch Update September 5, 2026: Initial support for Steam Achievements! - 5 September 2026

  Hi all, We're continuing to work on making Table Space the best it can be for the upcoming Steam Frame launch! This update brings initial support for Steam Achievements based on requests from members of the community. Excited for you all to unlock all of the achievements as you progress through Table Space. We also have included initial (still experimental) localization support for 7 additional languages besides english, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, French, Italian, and German. We are still working through all of the localization strings in the game and want to make sure all UI surfaces look good across all locales, so while this support is live in the game today, we haven't yet checked those boxes on the official store listing, because we want to make sure we get to 100% support for all text in the game. • August 26, 2026 Update: Chess Bugfix, Localization Improvements, Controllers++ - 26 August 2026

  Wow, it hasn't even been a week, Steam Frame is not yet released, and yet somehow we already have our first bugfix patch release. Expect ~weekly releases to Table Space as we continue to build in public! The 0.64 update brings: A fix for a game-breaking bug that sometimes happened in multiplayer Chess matches for the non-host player and prevented piece captures. A bugfix for bags being able to consume locked tiles that could ruin your word game fun on accidental (or intentionally sabotaging) drags. A bugfix for radial counters failing to update scores automatically for some Scramble Words players. Localization improvements to push buttons in various game modes (we're still doing some finishing touches on our localization support, we intend to fully support these 8 languages at launch: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Korean Controller suppor…
