- Hotfix 1.0.2: More Fixes Coming Next Week - 17 September 2026
Hey Nephilim, Thank you once again for your patience, and for all your help reporting bugs and sharing feedback with us. Team Metal has been hard at work, and we’re happy to say Hotfix 1.0.2 isn’t far away. Assuming everything goes to plan with testing, we’re aiming to have the update in your hands next week. We’ll share an official date once testing is complete and we have confirmation from our platform partners on when the update can ship. In the meantime, we wanted to give you a little more insight into what we’re targeting with 1.0.2. Like our last hotfix, there are a lot of fixes in this update - in fact, we’ve addressed even more bugs than we did with 1.0.1. We’ve continued to prioritise the issues you’ve been reporting to us most, and we’ll share the complete patch notes once the update is live. For now, some of the key areas we’re targeting include: Save & progression fixes, wit…
- Crimson Moon Hotfix 1.0.1 Patch Notes - 11 September 2026
Since launch, we’ve been listening closely to your feedback and bug reports, and the team has been taking action on the issues having the biggest impact on players. Hotfix 1.0.1 is the first of several updates we're working on and includes fixes and improvements for camera and lock-on behaviour, save and progression issues, crashes, Steam Deck/PC save syncing, co-op, PC keybinding improvements, HUD scaling, and more. We know that save and progression loss has been one of the most serious issues affecting some players, and addressing it continues to be a top priority for the team. With this update, we've added rolling backup saves to provide additional protection if a save becomes corrupted or fails to load, alongside fixes for several instances where player progression could be unintentionally reset. We've also fixed an issue affecting save syncing between Steam Deck and PC, while we co…
- Crimson Moon - Development Update & Roadmap - 9 September 2026
Nephilim, First, thank you to everyone who has jumped into Crimson Moon since launch, and especially for your patience while we've been working through the issues some players have encountered. We also want to thank everyone who has taken the time to report bugs, share videos, send us Support tickets, or simply tell us when something isn't working as it should. Those reports have been incredibly valuable to the team as we investigate issues and prioritise fixes including our recent 1.0.0.1 update which improved keybinding support on PC. We know many of you have been asking what we’re working on, when fixes are coming, and what you can expect from Crimson Moon over the coming weeks. We’ve heard you, and we’re taking action. Our goal with each update is to address both the critical issues affecting players and the quality-of-life feedback you’ve been sharing with us. Rather than only talk…
- Crimson Moon Patch 1.0.0.1 - 3 September 2026
Good news, PC Nephilim! ⌨️🖱️ Patch 1.0.0.1 has passed testing and we've decided to put our Alpha implementation of keybinding support into your hands now, rather than make you wait for the full, polished version. The update is available now (version 162350), giving PC players basic keyboard & mouse remapping and mouse sensitivity controls while we continue to refine and expand the feature. Keybinding support was already planned for PC, but we chose to hold the initial implementation at launch while we resolved some remaining issues. Your feedback reinforced that getting these options into your hands should be a priority, so the team has been working to get them ready as quickly as possible. IMPORTANT NOTE: this is our first Alpha implementation of keybinding support, not the final, polished experience we intend to deliver. You can find this new feature under the Settings Menu > Keyboar…
- Helpful Resources: Runs, Loadouts & Gear - 2 September 2026
Hey everyone, First, we want to say thank you for continuing to share your feedback with us. We’ve heard your frustrations around a number of issues, and Team Metal is continuing to work through fixes and improvements based on what you’re reporting. We’ve also noticed that some things being reported as bugs are actually game systems that we recognise aren't currently explained clearly enough in-game. That's on us to communicate better, and the team is looking at ways to make some of these systems clearer in future updates. In the meantime, we wanted to share a couple of resources that may help. Why can't I change my Loadout between missions? If you've returned to Sanctus Clypeus and the Loadout Station is unavailable or appears above you, you're still in an active run. A full run consists of three missions followed by a World Boss. Returning to Sanctus Clypeus between those missions doe…
- An Update on PC Keybinding - 1 September 2026
We’ve heard the frustration from our PC players around the lack of keybinding and remapping options, and we want to be clear: we’re committed to getting a fix into your hands this week. Team Metal is already working on a rapid first implementation of keybinding support. Our priority is to get this functionality to PC players as quickly as possible, so this first version may have some bugs or areas that still need refinement. Rather than make you wait for a more polished implementation, we want to get the initial version out this week and address any issues that arise in a following patch. We’ll share an exact date for the update as soon as we have it confirmed. In the meantime, here’s an early look at the keybinding options the team is already working on: 👇 Thank you for the feedback and for your patience while we get this into your hands. — Team Metal

- Crimson Moon (PC) Review - 1 September 2026
One of the oldest battles represented in gaming is the never-ending conflict between good and evil, and one of the most represented genres in gaming today — the roguelike — continues to be the gift that keeps giving. ProbablyMonsters deploys a solid action title that doubles as an infectious co-op adventure, demanding you try over and over again to defeat the abominations that destroyed the city and take it back. In Crimson Moon , you are humanity’s last hope and its greatest weapon. ProbablyMonsters tosses you in the deep end as Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid member of the order of the Crimson Moon, and you are the last line of defence to clean up the mess caused by the fall of the city of Gildenarch. - Behind the Score: Creating the Music of Crimson Moon - 18 August 2026
Gothic high fantasy. Orchestra. Choir. Metal. Music plays a huge part in bringing the world of Crimson Moon to life, blending sweeping orchestral and choral music with the ferocity and energy of metal to create a sound that matches both the gothic world of Gildenarch and the intensity of the hunt. In our latest behind-the-scenes video, Music Manager and Composer Steve Pardo and Audio Lead and Composer Christopher Wilson take you inside the recording process, alongside some of the incredible musicians bringing the score to life. Creating the Sound of Gildenarch From exploring the fallen city to facing the horrors waiting within its Wards, the music of Crimson Moon was created to complement both the gothic world of Gildenarch and the energy of its combat. Orchestra and choir bring the scale and high-fantasy atmosphere, while metal brings a very different kind of intensity. Together, they…
