- Interview with the Developer of In Vino Veritas (Italian) - 16 September 2026
A great chat with Professor Francesco Toniolo about developing In Vino Veritas, the challenges along the way, level design, balancing a day job with game dev, and lots more! You can find it at the link below (in Italian):
- Official Trailer is out! - 30 August 2026
I'm thrilled to announce that the Official Trailer for In Vino Veritas is out now! Plenty of new content and scenes - don't miss it!
- The demo looks different now! - 24 August 2026
Over the past few months I've carefully watched every single gameplay video I could find, analyzing what worked and what didn't. I'm happy to announce that a new version of the demo has been released today, featuring all the changes gathered over that time, to make the experience more enjoyable and to smooth out the little issues players ran into. The demo hasn't been overhauled, but it's definitely gained some great additions, first and foremost a new version of the opening cutscene that gives more details about the story and hints more clearly at why the player is there!
- Vacation's over, Steam Next Fest in October! - 20 August 2026
Vacation's over, but I haven't been sitting around either. I reorganized the work, planned out the missing steps, and started estimating a release date for the game. Now it's back to full speed, with the goal of being ready for Steam Next Fest in October! Don't trust the translations, the Elohim aren't what they seem
- She knows you're here - 18 June 2026
Development continues in the depths of the cathedral. We're currently finalizing a key cutscene, a moment where the boundary between hunter and hunted dissolves entirely.More soon. Stay close to the chalice.
- Brand new look for the store page! - 5 May 2026
Hope you like it! A friend and I sat down to brainstorm how to improve the shop's graphics, and this is the result Game development is still going full steam ahead!
- Blockout phase and level design for the third area are ongoing! - 19 April 2026
While I fix a few things I noticed watching your demo gameplays, work continues on the third area, which will definitely be the scariest and most puzzle-heavy one, while also revealing new details about the Elohim
- Thanks to everyone for playing the demo! A few minor fixes have been released - 12 April 2026
It was truly exciting to see the various gameplay videos uploaded to social media, thank you! And they were also very useful to me for understanding some dynamics that I hadn't considered at all:Several people got stuck at the puzzle; analyzing what they were looking at, I realized they didn't notice the arrows on the ground, and if they did notice them, they only saw the crooked one, thinking it was indicating where to go. I added some lights so they are more visible.I hadn't predicted at all that the creature could be bypassed. I thought the natural reaction would be to hide. I added the removal of the creature if you manage to get past it, so now both paths can be chosen! Some people didn't see that they could jump in the area where the trapdoor key is, so I added a light.I made the lever near the bridge more visible, as some people weren't seeing it.
- The Demo is officially out! - 10 April 2026
I am incredibly proud to announce that the demo is now live and playable! Don't hesitate to give it a try, it's completely free!If you’d like to support the development, there is a link to a feedback form directly in the game. The most helpful contributors will be selected to be featured in the final game!
- New cutscene in progress! - 2 March 2026
Working hard on a new cutscene that will reveal further details about the story once the player reaches that point. New characters will also be introduced!
- Capsule Update! - 11 February 2026
