- Fine-Tuning the Demo Experience - 18 August 2026
Late Night Manifest - Development UpdateI’ve been spending the last few weeks polishing Late Night Manifest and, this time, a lot of the work has been focused on the small details that can make a surprisingly big difference in how the game feels. Some of these changes may not look very significant on their own, but together they help make the controls more predictable, reduce unnecessary backtracking, improve readability, and make exploration feel smoother. Here’s what I’ve been working on. 🎮More Predictable ControlsOne of the things I’ve been working on is how option selection behaves when a button is held down.Previously, some of the options in loadout scenes and machine controls would continuously cycle while the button was being held. This could sometimes cause the selection to move further than the player intended, especially when they only wanted to move one step.I’ve changed these…
- The Late Night Manifest Demo is OUT NOW! - 8 August 2026
After a longer wait than I originally planned, Late Night Manifest's demo is finally available!I originally planned to release the demo on August 1st, but during the final testing phase I ran into some major bugs that I simply couldn't ignore. On top of that, the Steam review process took longer than expected. So the release was delayed but better late than broken. 😄I'm really happy that I can finally put the demo in your hands. What's included in the Demo? The full game is planned to have 6 different areas, but I wanted to keep some of them for the full release. The demo currently includes:Trailer Park; Marco's homeSentinel Mine; a small portion of the MineGilman's Estate; the complete areaThe remaining three areas will be saved for the full game:ForestSewerGas StationThe idea is to give you a good taste of what Late Night Manifest is about without revealing everything before the full rel…
- Awakening In The Coffin - 12 July 2026
First of all, I want to start by saying a massive thank you. We are incredibly close to hitting 17,000 wishlists! Seeing this level of support for Late Night Manifest is mind-blowing. It truly fuels the dark machinery behind the scenes and keeps us going. So, where are we at right now? Here is a quick look at the current state of development and what we have been working on: Closed Playtests Have BegunI have officially kicked off closed playtests with a select group of content creators. Watching them navigate the atmosphere and mechanics I have built has been fantastic. I am heavily focused on gathering their feedback to understand exactly how the game feels in the hands of real players. Simultaneously, I am pulling the best, most terrifying moments from their playthroughs to create some fresh content for our social media channels. Locking in the August 1st DemoAll the data and feedback…
- Signals Behind The Walls - 6 June 2026
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update on Late Night Manifest!Honestly, this game occupies my mind from the moment I wake up until the late hours of the night. Today, I'm thrilled to share some big milestones, a look into my design philosophy, a glimpse of what's waiting for you inside the house, and some massive news regarding the upcoming demo.1. Retro Machinery & Concrete ControlsAs I've hinted before, radiation, old frequencies, and strange radio technologies play a massive role in the world of Late Night Manifest.Take a look at the first image above. I've always been deeply inspired by those mysterious, industrial, and inherently unsettling machines found in classic survival horror games. I wanted to capture that exact feeling here. This green control system is packed with dials, flickering lights, switches, and triggers waiting to be deciphered. To avoid spoilers, I wo…
- Frequency Of The Unknown - 9 May 2026
Hey everyone!Welcome to the fourth monthly devlog for Late Night Manifest. I'm excited to share what I've been diving into lately and what's on the horizon for the project. First off, a massive thank you to everyone who's been following these updates and hitting that wishlist button. Your support is a huge personal motivator for me. We just hit a major milestone of 14,000 wishlists, and seeing the community grow like this makes me even more confident about where we're headed. Let's get into what's new!New GadgetsI've implemented a new system for handling gadgets. You can now equip tools directly, switch between them seamlessly, and monitor their status via a real-time HUD in the top-right corner of the screen. If a device is interactive, you can dive into your inventory to adjust settings or toggle buttons manually. One of the new additions is the "RF Locator" (title may change, it's pla…
- Manifest Takes Form - 11 April 2026
Hey everyone!Welcome to my third monthly devlog for Late Night Manifest. Here's a look at what I have been working on recently and what’s coming next.First of all, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these updates and added the game to their wishlist. Your support truly means a lot and keeps me motivated to keep pushing the project forward. We've now reached 9.000 wishlists, and with your continued support, I'm confident we can go even further.Gameplay UpdatesA new storage system has been implemented, allowing players to transfer items between their inventory and storage points. This adds a layer of strategy to resource management, especially when dealing with limited inventory space.I am also continuing development on items, tools, devices, and environmental puzzles. Each new element is designed to deepen the mystery and encourage careful observation, rather than direc…
- Basic Pocket System - 7 March 2026
Hello everyone! It’s been about a month since my last devlog. During this time I’ve made significant progress on the core gameplay mechanics of the game.First of all, thank you very much to everyone who has taken the time to read these updates and added the game to their wishlist. Your support really means a lot and helps motivate me to keep pushing the project forward. We've reached 5,000 wishlists so far. With your support, I believe we can go much further. In this devlog, I’d like to walk you through the latest mechanics that were added to the game. Recently, I implemented three basic mechanics:Aim ModeBasic Pocket (Inventory) UICollecting Items in the WorldItem Discovery & InspectionItems can now appear throughout the game world. You might find them:on the groundinside cabinets, storages or fridges etc.or hidden in various locations across the map. When the player approaches an item,…
- The First "Morning" - 4 February 2026
Hey everyone! First of all, thank you for adding my game into your wishlist. I'm doing my best to create a game worthy of everyone who adds it to their wishlist. Every day, during my morning walks, in my mind, I do pre-feasibility studies on the game's story and the mechanics I'll add.At the moment, development is on the interior of the house. I’ve started building small, subtle interactions inside this space, nothing flashy, but elements meant to ground the player and slowly introduce the tone of the world. These early moments are important to me, because they set expectations before anything is fully revealed. From a narrative standpoint, the overall structure of the story is mostly in place. Without going into spoilers, the game follows Marco; an ordinary lumberjack living a quiet life in a trailer park. One "morning" he wakes up to find the world profoundly changed. What exactly hap…
