  Whaddaya know! More bug fixes! This will likely be the last patch for now unless there are some HUGE issues that need to be addressed. Gotta focus my development time on making more of the game!Frequent alt-tabbing leading to crashes: This has been a running issue for a bit now that varies from machine to machine. If your game is crashing when you alt-tab too much, I would highly recommend going to the settings, looking for "Alt render method", and turning that on. That resolves the issue for some, for others it introduces issues, really just depends.Properly scaled visual effects: Majority of the visual effects sprites were placeholders that were haphazardly scaled up.   Hello again! Here's a couple more patches of some other issues that were mentioned in feedback.Video playback/Opening cinematic crash: Some users have reported their game crashing when starting up a new game and trying to load the opening cinematic. Apparently this is a rare obscure issue that a small few get with GameMaker's video playback feature (I saw reports of this for Deltarune Chapter 3 as well). I'm considering not using this feature in the full game if the issue persists without a fix in the coming years, but for now if the demo crashes while trying to play the opening cinematic, it'll give you the option to disable video playback the next time you boot the game up.Date-time parsing fix attempt #2: Some users would experience issues with their game crashing when trying to load due to a mismatch on the data given from their computer clock. • v1.02 patch! - 22 February 2026

  Hello all! I've introduced some patches to the demo that should help with some of the more pressing issues that were reported. Check out the change list below to see what was patched:Worldmap softlock: Players could get their file essentially softlocked by entering the recollectory then moving the player character. This should no longer be possible to do, and furthermore if you have a save file with this issue, it should be fixed if you boot it up with this patched version of the game Fullscreen / GPU rendering issues: Some players have reported odd behaviors on the rendering side of things, sometimes when playing in fullscreen, sometimes when tabbing in and out of the game window. I've changed the rendering timing method for the game which hopefully should mitigate this issue for those experiencing it.
