Emerald Flower tells the story of a 17-year-old boy who has lost everything in the war and is searching for a reason to live. Rich Gameplay: Craft useful items from the materials you gather from the environment using the crafting and inventory system. Damlama Government Secret Archive Records: What is Known About the Emerald Flower Project Biological Origin The Emerald Flower ( Stapelia Smaragdina ) is a parasitic plant. It is a subspecies of Stapelia Gigantea . Although it is unknown exactly when and how it evolved, fossils dating back to the evolution of Homo heidelbergensis have been found. (Research is ongoing...) Reproduction Strategy While its cousin Stapelia Gigantea uses flies to reproduce, this subspecies, known as the Emerald Flower, uses mammals. Its infection strategy relies on emitting a dizzyingly beautiful scent to attract victims, especially chimpanzees and humans. When the victim smells the flower, the seeds attach to the brain's olfactory nerve. Since these seeds are microscopic in size, the victim walks away completely unaware of the parasite infection. The seed slowly develops here by feeding on the moisture of the mucus and penetrates the brain. Once inside, the Emerald Flower accelerates its growth using glucose in the brain and extends its roots into the brain stem. These growing roots thin out to a microscopic level, splitting into nanofibers, and seep into the synaptic clefts, beginning to control all of the mammal's instincts.
