A forgotten cottage sits on a hill above a small Mediterranean coastal town. No one knows much about the man who once lived here, only that he kept to himself and told weird stories sometimes. Now the place is yours. But as you begin restoring it, you realize the previous owner may have left more behind than dust and crumbling walls... Explore the Mediterranean countryside and forage for everything you need. Pick wild asparagus, capers and strawberries, gather bundles of thyme and rosemary, or head to the coast for sea lavender and mussels. Every resource is rooted in the real Mediterranean landscape. Learn unique Mediterranean building techniques and craft everything you need, from furniture and decorations to building supplies like tiles and mortar. Recipes are inspired by real crafting processes, so to make lime mortar you first burn lime (not the citrus one!) in the oven, then mix it with sand and water. Get your hands dirty! Use tools and materials for all kinds of jobs, from patching cracks and laying roof tiles to repairing old furniture. Watch the cottage transform step by step.
