Short description
3D falling sands simulation where cubes fall, flow, react, oxidize, ignite, and explode. Experiment freely, discover new reactions, and unlock all 200+ cube types.
About this game
Inspired by classic falling sand simulations, Falling Cubes is a 3D sandbox where you experiment through physics and chemistry to unlock over 200 unique cube types. Collide cubes and unleash chain reactions. Crack, grow, decompose, burn, freeze, melt, and explode. Watch as your cubes fall, flow, launch, and transform in response to their environment and every change you make. Every experiment brings you closer to unlocking each and every cube. Shape your simulation using a variety of tools. Paint cube types into the world, raise or lower the temperature, and create pockets of pressure to see how your cubes react. Gravity-driven falling and stacking Pressure that pushes, pulls, and crushes cubes Temperature spreads to melt and freeze cubes Acids and bases that dissolve their surroundings Biology that rots and metals that rust over time Experiment with hundreds of interacting materials Create beautiful environments Simulate natural processes—or unleash complete destruction Explosives and volatile compounds Reactive metals and oxidizing elements Fuels, gases, liquids, and structural solids Emergent gameplay driven by systems reacting to your actions Apply Pressure, Temperature or combine chemicals to unlock each and every cube Graphics Ray traced voxels Audio There’s music at the beginning and sometimes later but not often
